God Morning MCC friends & family.
Day 12 of proverbs and seeking wisdom. This Sunday we added an element to our reading which is praying for our mothers and wives for 21 days. Praying Colossians 1 over them.

I'll ask, in 12 days you've either abandoned reading proverbs morning and night or maybe had to catch up a few days or maybe missed a morning or a night or maybe read it all 3 times. The point is, whatever place you're in it takes PURPOSEFUL DISCIPLINE & A DEVOTION to read 1 chapter twice day.
I wanted to make a post everyday but failed to do so for various reasons, mostly time constraints. I missed one night of reading, and read on the go 2 mornings.
I simple told God, it ain't that that i don't have time for you Lord, you know my frame, how I'm wired and my schedule. I literally felt these words pe*****te my soul, "son you make time for everything you love." That began a conversation with God that went on for hours that day. I thought about loving God. I said...Lord I know you, but most people don't know you like I know you. I said... you can't expect us to love you and spend time with you and we can't see you, can't hear you, don't experience you... the God we read about we don't see or experience. I said, when will you show up and be God, the God of Abraham, Peter, David & Daniel...
I believe this is what I heard... I then pondered for a while the life of those men, it was devotion to knowing God... and this i heard in my spirit.. y'all don't want that God; that God formed the universe and by his hand all things were created, when He spoke it all responded... i thought what!!! That's exactly the God we want!!!
He said in my spirit, y'all want a god that responds to you when you command Something from Nothing, one who meets all your needs and agrees with you and a god that thinks like you think, a god of your own theology🤯
I just said to the Lord that day and since, Lord you right, we don't know you, we don't want to know you, we want a god who is under our control which is no god at all.

It's simple you'll never know anyone, who you're not, on some level, devoted to knowing. What a tragedy to live this life & never know God.

Colossians 1:9-14 TLV
[9] For this reason also, ever since we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We keep asking God that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding— [10] to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God. [11] We pray that you may be strengthened with all the power that comes from His glorious might, for you to have all kinds of patience and steadfastness. With joy [12] we give thanks to the Father, who qualified you to share in the inheritance of the -kedoshim- ( saints) in the light. [13] He rescued us from the domain of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son whom He loves. [14] In Him we have redemption—the release of sins.

Proverbs 6 Today...

Lots of great wisdom in this chapter, but one verse jump off the page at me this morning. Out of the TLV...
Proverbs 6:23 TLV
[23] For the mitzvah (commandment) is a lamp, Torah (law) a light, and corrective discipline the way of life, to keep you from...

Remember all the talk about the great reset.
That's exactly what we need, except we need to reset back to the ways of God.

1st thought... Solomon wrote this... your commandment is a lamp and your law a light. Assuming David his father wrote psalm 119, you reckon Solomon probably heard that statement his whole life. O and let's not forget the context of his very existence... adultery and murder, yet he knew very well the way...

Psalms 119:105 TLV
[105] Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

2nd thought... Solomon writes.. corrective discipline is the way of LIFE...
How many people do you know or hear said of... "they are set in their ways" or "you can't tell them nothing"
You know what those statements really translate into? Stiff necked, impenitent, unpliable, hard hearted, and really no longer useful in the Kingdom, Church, or to God. Hear me folks, to say "I'm just set in my ways" is not a boast, it's the 2nd worst condition a human heart can be in, the 1st being unbelief. LISTEN UP READ THIS OUT LOUD AND HEAR YOURSELF SAY THIS...
God's Mercy for that condition is death, that you die before you cause to much damage. God's judgment for it... He let's you live in it!

Why you say that preacher?
Romans 2:1-9
But especially vs. 5-6
Romans 2:5-6 TLV
[5] But by your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed. [6] He will pay back each person according to his deeds.

A GoOD place to start...prayerful repentance
Psalms 51:3-6, 9, 12 TLV
[3] Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your mercy. According to Your great compassion blot out my transgressions. [4] Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. [5] For I know my transgressions and my sin is ever before me. [6] Against You, You only, have I sinned, and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are just when You speak, and blameless when You judge.
[9] Cleanse me with hyssop and I will be clean. Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
[12] Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

God Morning Family:
Proverbs 5

Proverbs 5 begins a 3 chapter mini series on the Peril (Danger, Destruction, Devastation) of Adultery and Immoral character in man.
They are the 3 most read chapters in all the Bible for me.
Let me say this with as much intensity as can be written with letter...
I have never seen, heard of, experienced one single human being EVER proved the words of these 3 chapters to be false or irrelevant!!!
There has never been a family or marriage, that has been "better off" as a result of infidelity and divorced and there never will be. Now a prideful and selfish man or woman might say " I'm better off" that's just because number one is number one, and in there wake...dead bodies everywhere. Broken children, friendships, careers and on and on. Many become defiled from one single act, according to Hebrews, ( but if we don't believe this in proverbs, why believe that in Hebrews) now it's most common in most all households...but you expect to have a right and civil and God fearing Government!!!!
How can we hate them when they act like we do!!!
Now, a nation is defiled, and it happened one household at a time.!!!
If somehow we could return to the simplicity of living life by these 3 little chapters, the world would change!!!
If we could again believe the scripture to be true and God to real we would hear Him when He said...

Proverbs 5:1-3 TLV
[1] My son, pay attention to my wisdom. Incline your ear to my insight, [2] that you may maintain discretion and your lips may preserve knowledge. [3] For a seducing woman’s lips drip honey and her mouth is smoother than oil.

What is coming....
Proverbs 5:4-5 TLV
[4] But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a double-edged sword. [5] Her feet go down to death, her steps lead straight to Sheol.

And know....
Proverbs 5:21-23 TLV
[21] For a man’s ways are before the eyes of Adonai, and He observes all his paths. [22] The iniquities of a wicked man will ensnare him. The cords of his sin will hold him down. [23] He will die for lack of discipline, led astray by his own great folly.

No One EVER ESCAPES !!!

God Morning Fathers!!!
Proverbs 4
Dad's what is your cry?
When you're teaching your sons and daughters to value things in this life, what is it?
Is it a Job? Is it Education? Is it Work Ethic?
Is it partying? Is it financial security, retirement, social status, possessions, money, just got to make money, "money makes the world go round"....right?
IF GOD LIFTED HIS HAND FOR ONE SECOND YOUR MONEY WOULD MEAN NOTHING.
In this life you want to be the head not the tail...right?
Think about this Dad's what are you teaching your children to value?

These things listed may have "some" value when paired with wisdom, but are useless without wisdom. Like a gold ring in a pigs snout. Yes it's gold ( that has value) being used to root in the mire.
Proverbs 17:16 TLV
[16] Of what use is money in the hand of a fool since he has no intention of acquiring wisdom?

Father’s do you want gold for your children to root in the mire?

[1] Hear, my children, the instruction of a father, And give attention to know understanding; [2] For I give you good doctrine: Do not forsake my law. Proverbs 3

Nothing is more precious in this life than to attain the spirit of wisdom, and even God Himself refers to Her as a Woman. She is available to all who will seek Her.

Proverbs 3:13-18 NKJV
