“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”
Deuteronomy 8:18 KJV
Power is ability and wealth requires responsibility, and accountability in order to flourish in the Kingdom assignment as Ambassadors.
Remember who you are! Apostle Paul stated “for which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” Ephesians 6:20 KJV. One of Merriam Webster dictionary defines the word speak meaning : to express oneself before a group. Expression is something that manifests, embodies, or symbolizes something else. As we “and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,”
Ephesians 6:19 KJV. Remember Jesus’ instructions to “ Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip (short writing: “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, That I might not sin (rebel) against thee.” Psalm 119:11 KJV), neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.” Luke 9:3 KJV
Why we are Ambassadors rather than soldiers. An ambassador seeks peace through words, while a soldier enforces security through action. Though both positions are important, If a soldier is attacked, they defend and respond militarily.
If an ambassador is attacked, the response is legal, diplomatic, and political, often with international consequences.
Because we are Ambassadors we represent the Kingdom of God’s government and therefore it’s a declaration of war thus the full weight of God’s army is activated to defend you. You are protected on this new journey.
