Today, June 19, 2022 is Rev. John Wagner's last worship service as Pastor at First Church (UMC) in Middletown, OH. He is retiring from pastoral work. Here is the link to the church's website and where you can watch the service live (on now) or watch the recording.

I (Becky Wasio) am cleaning out a bag of papers from Epworth. I came across this certificate from 2014. Since it's October, I thought it would be nice to share this.

Epworth raised some money to go towards UNICEF's Trick or Treat event in 2014 and received this certificate in the mail.

The money goes toward things like vaccines, relief for natural disasters, and educational opportunities. Why not consider doing some trick or treating this year for UNICEF? Here's the website to learn more:

We had our first gathering since the last worship service today! We met for lunch at Keller Park. We had a nice time socializing and catching up with one another. Planning on doing this again on Aug. 21st - same place and time.

A beautiful and blessed day to say goodbye to Epworth Church but not to our memories or God's love. Just some of the people in attendance for our final worship service.
