We are a non-profit organization and we support local charities in Winnebago County, IL and Rock County, WI, along with ELCA (Evangelical Church of America) World Hunger. Through our very successful summer ministry of the Brat Stand, along with other events sponsored by the Church, such as our Car Show, Craft Show, Ice Cream Social, Trivia Night, and other events sanctioned by the Church Council, we are able to support charities such as Lutheran Social Services, Project 16:49, Caritas, and Vets Roll. In a couple of weeks we will be gathering as a Synod here in Northern Illinois to tend to the work of the regional church. The Northern Illinois Synod Social Ministry Committee has selected that our In-Kind Offering this year will go to Lutheran Social Services of IL. As we continue dreaming about the future of Faith Lutheran together, we invite you to join us next Sunday at 9:30 AM during worship as we share a report from our vision team on the results of our recent congregational survey.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate and share your hopes, ideas, and reflections. Your voices are helping shape the next steps in our ministry and mission together.

We also invite all members to stay engaged in the conversation by attending our follow-up Congregational Meeting on the 31st, where we will continue discussing what we’ve learned and where God may be leading us next.

Please keep this process in your prayers as we listen, discern, and dream together.
