There are moments when the pace of life leaves us feeling more than just tired. We feel poured out, searching for a spark of energy that seems just out of reach.
But even in the middle of our exhaustion, we are invited to a different kind of rhythm. We are invited to pause, to breathe, and to lean into a strength that does not originate in ourselves. It is a promise that has sustained generations: that waiting on the Lord isn't a passive state, but a restorative one.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." : Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)
Renewal is often found in the quiet surrender of our own efforts. It is the gift of a second wind when the road is steep, and the quiet assurance that we are held even when we feel weak. Today, may you find the grace to hope more deeply, trust more fully, and walk more freely.
May your strength be made new in Him.
