Join us for a powerful Black History Month Worship Service at William Chapel Church of God in Christ as we reflect on God’s faithfulness and delivering power throughout our history. Under the theme “From Chains to Change: God’s Delivering Power” (Exodus 3:7–8), this service will honor the legacy of resilience, faith, and freedom rooted in the Black Church. Through worship, reflection, and the preached Word, we will celebrate how God has carried His people from bo***ge to breakthrough. All are welcome to join us for this inspiring time of praise and remembrance.

Daily Reading: A Clean and Faithful Heart (Psalm 51:6-12).

Be Content, God is More Than Enough!

“Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: And in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Make me to hear joy and gladness; That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

Hide thy face from my sins, And blot out all mine iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy spirit from me.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with thy free spirit.”

Daily Reading: Stand Firm (Ephesians 6:14-18).

Hold to God's Hand! He's Faithful!

“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints"

Daily Reading: Remembering God's Will (1 Thessalonians 5:16-25).

Praise Will Help You Press Through!

“Rejoice evermore.

Pray without ceasing.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Quench not the Spirit.

Despise not prophesyings.

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Abstain from all appearance of evil.

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Brethren, pray for us.”

Daily Reading: Remembering God's Commands (Deuteronomy 7:1-11).

Don't Give Up On God's Promises To You! He's Able!

“When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgash*tes, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;

And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.

But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.

Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.”
