Dear St. Louis family,
As each new day brings changes, I hope you find only positive, healthy and meaningful changes in your life. As phases are reopening and our parish has seen the first sign of light from this long turmoil crisis we have endured. I also say a special prayer to all our new graduates, from kindergarten through college. May each new hurdle you pass you remember that you have God with you. I hope that jobs and opportunities are opened to you and only wishes of good health and success will follow through your life. Congratulations 2020!!!
As all of you have so through the years please continue to support our Jane Guido outreach ministry. Besides her family and friends her next thought was our parish, our neighbors in need. She never wanted anyone in our community to go without. Her heart was so big when we had extras she extended it to other communities also. There are those who suffer many different circumstances that arose to bring them to our doors. Our doors have remained open during this pandemic, never to leave anyone hungry. That was my one small offer that I could give to our community. Sometimes it’s just someone to talk to in a time of need, a referral for outside assistance when they didn’t know where to turn. Our most used offering is those who come for food/toiletries, holiday give-aways and occasionally financially assistance. As I have asked in the past please remember all those who may be suffering in silence, who feel the shame of asking for help. There are many who can be one paycheck, one accident, one illness away from completely havoc in there financially situations. It could be the last person you may think of sometimes appearances can be deceiving, especially in our area. Please pray for me as I pray for all of you. Thank you again for all those who have bravely shopped for us during this pandemic, wearing a mask and following all the guidelines as not to not walk the wrong way with the marked arrows on the floor.
