Natalie Welborn is the daughter of Brandon and Kristin Welborn. She just finished her last year at West Jones Elementary. She finished this school year with Honor Roll. She will start West Jones Middle School next school year. She loves school and enjoys playing basketball. She also enjoys spending time with all her family.

Lucy Holloway is the 12 year old daughter of Jim and Jami Holloway. Lucy attends Mississippi Reading Connections, LLC in Ellisville, MS. She completes the 6th grade with high academic honors including the Overall Academic Achievement Award for the 2019-2020 school year. Lucy is involved in many activities outside of school. She enjoys working with her GMA group at Berean Baptist Church. She loves to dance and has been a 9 year dance student at Dance Etc. in Laurel. She recently began Competition

dance and earned an emerald award at the MS dance competition. She also loves creative activities including voice, piano and musical theatre. Lucy loves spending time with her family and animals on the family farm. She looks forward to the upcoming school year and many new opportunities.

We would also like to recognize our 6th graders. We know they are not done with school but they are starting a new adventure at this time. Berean is in constant prayer of all our children. We are praying for Lucy and Natalie as they finish elementary school. We pray they will continue to follow God and let their light shine for Him.

William Garrett is the seventeen-year-old son of Joel and Lori Garrett of Soso. He has two brothers, Brandon, age 20 and Timothy, age 15. Saved at the age of 14, William is a member of Berean Baptist Church of Soso, where he serves as the Sound Technician and also volunteers each year in Vacation Bible School. He is employed by his uncle, Greg Hill, working on his poultry farm. William has been homeschooled since seventh grade while previously attending West Jones Elementary School. William enjoys hunting, fishing and playing basketball. He played on the Laurel Knight Hawks basketball team for 3 years and ran track with the Knight Hawks for 2 years. After graduation. William plans to attend Jones College and major in Heating & Air Conditioning Technology.

William's favorite bible verse is 2 Timothy 1:7 -
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

Michael Skidmore is the son of Kelly and Shawn Skidmore. He is a graduate of West Jones High School. He is a member of the Best Club. He graduated as a MS Scholar.

Right now during this time we are unable to meet and it may be awhile before we can. But with all this going on we do not want to miss out on congratulating our graduates. We at Berean are so proud of these young men. William and Michael we want you both to know we are praying for you both and pray for the Lord's guidance in each decision you make. Always know your church is here for you and cheering you on. We love you both!!

I want to invite everyone to the Easter Egg Hunt at Berean this Saturday, March 31, starting at 10 am!!! It will be a fun filled day with egg hunt, activities and food! We hope to see you there 😁

Berean is gearing up for VBS 2017!! We would love everyone to join us as we explore the Bible and all of the treasures within. Ages 2yrs - 5th grade. May 31- June 2 5:30pm-8:30 pm and June 3 9am - 12 pm. Supper will be provided and we will have a van route.
