Why do you attend church?

Is it for the childcare? For the socialization?

Or is it because you have a genuine want to gather with the people of God in worship? Ever since the early church, God emphasized the importance of his believers gathering together and doing life with one another.

One-on-one time and personal study is essential in your Christian walk, but you can’t replace church. And if you’re faking church, you’re wasting your time. We grow our faith by hearing the teaching of the Word of God, and asking the Holy Spirit to use it to make us more Christ-like… not by putting on our nicest outfit and small-talking our way through Sunday mornings.

The highest compliment we’ve ever received about our church is, “You are who you say you are.”

That’s how we show up on Sunday mornings: We don’t claim to be perfect, (there’s only one man who ever was). We love God, and we love people. We constantly work towards a goal of growing the kingdom, of being genuine and honest about where we’re at or what we’re going through, and not faking church.

October is pastor appreciation month! We are so blessed to have a pastor who fulfills his biblical role by shepherding the flock with genuine kindness, compassion, and wisdom.

Pastor Kevin has served in the ministry for so many faithful years, and it’s time he takes a well-deserved sabbatical! He’s taking an opportunity to rest before the holidays, and before we move to two services (missed the announcement? Follow the link in our bio!). We’re blessed to be in a position where he can take a step away to relax and gear up for what’s next!

For the next couple of weeks, get ready to hear sermons from some awesome guest speakers. Don’t worry- he’ll be back in time for the holidays!

Join us in prayer as we ask God to refresh his spirit, and most of all, with prayers of thanks for a wonderful leader!

What’s the point of joining a church body?

Finding a church home is a great way to foster discipleship. Having someone walk with you in your spiritual journey is a biblical principle going back before the times of Christ. Jesus challenged us to mentor people as they walk their spiritual journey, and that’s a main focus of Reach Church

You’re meant to get engaged with the body. Ministry offers purpose and meaning, fostering relationships through service. Using our spiritual gifts strengthens each other and the church!

Connecting with others is essential. No Christian can function effectively in isolation; we are meant to be interdependent. You’re not meant to do life alone! Our slogan- “Love God, Love People” means we love YOU!

LIFE GROUPS ARE BACK & BETTER THAN EVER! ➡️

Ladies bunko is meeting the last Monday of each month at 6:30pm! If you’re looking for a casual and fun setting to meet new people, this is the perfect event for you! Never played bunko before? Doesn’t matter! Its easy to learn and we’re all pretty bad at it anyway. Come for the laughs & leave with new friends 🫶🏼

Calling all 6-8th graders! Our youth group is meeting Tuesday nights at 6:30 🥳 bring a friend and join us as we learn more about Jesus together!

Our 18-29 year olds are studying the Book of Mark! This 5 week study is happening on Tuesdays at 6:30 📖 and kicking off September 1st!

Survey of the Bible is continuing to meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30! If you’re looking for a more in-depth Bible study, this one is for you! Led by Pastor Eddie, you’ll take a practical, big-picture walk through Scripture to understand how all the books of the Bible fit together and point to Jesus.

This class is great whether you’re newer to the Bible or have been reading it for years and want a clearer overview. Bring your Bible, your questions, and a friend as we grow together in God’s Word.

The Table is meeting every last Saturday of the month! We take it back to the basics by gathering around a table together and sharing a meal- unplugged and casual. This small group is all about cultivating friendship the way God designed 🫶🏼

Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, join our Reach ladies for Bible study!

The Thirty-Somethings ministry is a perfect environment to meet people in the same phase of life as you 🌱 childcare available!
