Jesus said, "Blessed are those who hunger & thirst after righteousness", Mt 5. To hunger & crave after the Lord & His ways is to live in a status of being very fortunate. To not hunger & crave after Him & His ways may be a sign that one hasn't "tasted of that heavenly gift", therefore is not saved or that one has neglected this great gift & drifted away. Ask yourself, "what am I pursuing that I think will satisfy my life?" If Christ is not your first & foremost pursuit, then He is not your Lord but just an equal to your other desires.
