Hermanos, la fe en la Santísima Trinidad no es algo lejano. Dios ha querido quedarse con nosotros de un modo sorprendentemente cercano: en el Pan de cada día que se parte y se comparte, en la Eucaristía donde escuchamos de nuevo: “Este es mi Cuerpo… Esta es mi Sangre…”.

Por eso celebramos Corpus Christi: para reconocer, agradecer y adorar esta Presencia real de Jesús que camina con su pueblo.

¿Sabías que esta solemnidad nació del deseo de la Iglesia de honrar de manera especial el Sacramento del Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo? Con el tiempo, los Papas la confirmaron y la procesión se convirtió en un testimonio público de amor y fe.

San Juan Pablo II lo recordaba en Orvieto: este misterio nos habla del amor misericordioso de Dios que se hace comida y bebida de salvación para la humanidad peregrina.

Hoy te invito a hacer algo sencillo:

- detenerte un momento,
- mirar al Señor en la Eucaristía,
- y decirle con el corazón: “Jesús, quédate conmigo”.

Brothers and sisters, faith in the Most Holy Trinity is not something distant. God has wanted to remain with us in a surprisingly close way: in the bread of each day that is broken and shared, in the Eucharist where we hear again: “This is my Body… This is my Blood…”.

That is why we celebrate Corpus Christi: to recognize, give thanks for, and adore this real Presence of Jesus who walks with his people.

Did you know that this solemnity was born from the Church’s desire to honor in a special way the Sacrament of the Body and Blood of Christ? Over time, the popes confirmed it, and the procession became a public witness of love and faith.

Saint John Paul II recalled it in Orvieto: this mystery speaks to us of God’s merciful love, who becomes food and drink of salvation for pilgrim humanity.

Today I invite you to do something simple:

- pause for a moment,
- look to the Lord in the Eucharist,
- and say to him from your heart: “Jesus, stay with me.”

Santísima Trinidad | Inicio del Tiempo Ordinario 💚✨

El domingo pasado celebramos Pentecostés 🔥🕊️ y con ello concluyó el tiempo de Pascua. Ahora comenzamos el Tiempo Ordinario (verde 💚): no es “un tiempo sin importancia”, sino el tiempo de la vida diaria, donde estamos llamados a vivir el Evangelio en lo cotidiano.

Mirando hacia atrás descubrimos un plan de amor: el Padre no nos dejó perdidos. Envió a su Hijo: “Y el Verbo se hizo carne y habitó entre nosotros” (Jn 1,14). Y Jesús nos revela el rostro del Padre: “Quien me ha visto a mí, ha visto al Padre” (Jn 14,9). 🙏

Hoy celebramos la Santísima Trinidad: Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo ✝️: un Dios cercano que nos salva y nos sostiene. Y ya nos preparamos para Corpus Christi 🍞✨: el Pan del camino.

Para tu oración de hoy:
“Señor, enséñame a vivir el Evangelio en lo cotidiano”. 🙌

Holy Trinity | Ordinary Time begins 💚✨

Last Sunday we celebrated Pentecost 🔥🕊️, marking the end of Easter season. Now the Church gifts us Ordinary Time (green 💚)—not a “less important” time, but the season of everyday life, when we’re called to live the Gospel in the ordinary moments.

Looking back, we see a plan of love: the Father did not leave us lost. He sent His Son: “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (Jn 1:14). Jesus shows us the Father: “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father” (Jn 14:9). 🙏

Today we celebrate the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit ✝️—a God who is near, who saves, and who strengthens us. And we’re already preparing for Corpus Christi 🍞✨: the Bread for the journey.

Prayer for today:
“Lord, teach me to live the Gospel in everyday life.” 🙌

🙏 ¡Feliz memoria de María, Madre de la Iglesia! 🌿

Hoy recordamos que Jesús, desde la Cruz ✝️, nos regaló a su propia Madre para que también sea Madre nuestra y Madre de toda la Iglesia ⛪️.

“Mujer, aquí tienes a tu hijo… Aquí tienes a tu madre.” (Jn 19, 26–27) 📖

María permanece de pie junto a la Cruz: no huye, no se rinde, no abandona 💙. Y así también se queda cerca de cada uno de sus hijos, acompañándonos en la fe 🙏, en el dolor 🕊️ y en la esperanza ✨.

Pidámosle a María que nos enseñe a decir cada día un “sí” más profundo al Señor 🤍, y a caminar unidos como Iglesia 🤝⛪️.

María, Madre de la Iglesia, ruega por nosotros 🙏

Today we remember that Jesus, from the Cross ✝️, gave us his own Mother so that she might also be our Mother and the Mother of the whole Church ⛪️.

“Woman, behold your son… Behold your mother.” (Jn 19:26–27) 📖

Mary remains standing by the Cross: she does not flee, she does not give up, she does not abandon 💙. And so she also stays close to each of her children, accompanying us in faith 🙏, in sorrow 🕊️, and in hope ✨.

Let us ask Mary to teach us to say each day a deeper “yes” to the Lord 🤍, and to walk united as Church 🤝⛪️.

Hoy celebramos Pentecostés, 50 días después de la Pascua: la gran fiesta del don del Espíritu Santo. Ese Espíritu que transforma la confusión en comunión, y nos hace entendernos en una sola lengua: la del amor (cfr. Gn 11).

El Evangelio nos muestra a los discípulos con las puertas cerradas por miedo… y, aun así, Jesús entra y pronuncia una palabra que lo cambia todo: “¡La paz esté con ustedes!” (Jn 20,19-23). No llega con reproches, llega con paz. Y luego los envía: “Como el Padre me envió a mí, yo también los envío a ustedes”.

Pentecostés también es para ti y para mí: cuando dejamos que el Espíritu abra nuestras puertas por dentro, y nos convierta en una Iglesia en salida, capaz de amar, perdonar y anunciar.

Oración sencilla para hoy:
Espíritu Santo, ven. Enciende mi corazón. Rompe mis miedos. Hazme testigo de tu amor. Amén.

Today we celebrate Pentecost, 50 days after Easter: the great feast of the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit who transforms confusion into communion, and enables us to understand one another in a single language: the language of love (cf. Gn 11).

The Gospel shows the disciples behind closed doors out of fear… and yet Jesus enters and speaks a word that changes everything: “Peace be with you!” (Jn 20:19–23). He does not come with reproaches; he comes with peace. And then he sends them: “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”

Pentecost is also for you and for me: when we allow the Spirit to open our inner doors, and to make us a Church that goes forth, capable of loving, forgiving, and proclaiming.

A simple prayer for today:Holy Spirit, come. Kindle my heart. Break my fears. Make me a witness of your love. Amen.

🙏 Hoy la Palabra nos muestra a la Iglesia naciendo en lo sencillo: una comunidad reunida, perseverante, unida en la oración, con María en medio. No tenían “todo resuelto”, pero tenían lo esencial: un corazón que espera, confía y se deja sostener por Dios.

⏳ Quizás tú también estás viviendo una espera, una decisión, una incertidumbre. No la cargues solo/a: vuelve “a la sala”, vuelve a la oración, vuelve a la comunidad. Ahí el Señor fortalece y prepara el corazón para lo que viene.

🕊️ Que esta semana de Pascua nos encuentre así: íntimamente unidos, perseverando en la oración, abiertos al Espíritu Santo.

Hechos 1, 12-14

🙏 Today, the Word shows us the Church being born in simplicity: a community gathered together, persevering, united in prayer, with Mary in the midst. They didn’t have “everything figured out,” but they had what matters most: a heart that waits, trusts, and allows itself to be sustained by God. ✨

⏳ Perhaps you, too, are living through a season of waiting, a decision, an uncertainty. Don’t carry it alone: return to the “upper room,” return to prayer, return to the community. There the Lord strengthens and prepares the heart for what is to come. 🤍

🕊️ May this Easter week find us this way: closely united, persevering in prayer, open to the Holy Spirit.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Día Internacional de las Familias (15 de mayo)

Hoy celebramos el Día Internacional de las Familias: una oportunidad para valorar el regalo de la familia y recordar que allí aprendemos a amar, a perdonar y a sostenernos en los momentos difíciles. 🤝❤️

En nuestra parroquia de St. Benedict damos gracias por cada hogar: por quienes educan con paciencia, por quienes cuidan a los mayores, por quienes luchan por salir adelante, y también por las familias que hoy atraviesan dolor o división. Nadie está solo: la Iglesia camina con ustedes. 🙏⛪

Oración breve: 🙏

Señor, bendice a nuestras familias. Danos unidad, respeto y paz. Sana lo que esté herido y fortalece el amor que nos hace hogar. Amén. 🕊️

Si hoy puedes, haz un gesto sencillo: llama a alguien de tu familia, pide perdón, agradece, o reza juntos un Padre Nuestro. 📞💬

🙏✨ Hoy celebramos la Ascensión del Señor: Jesús vuelve al Padre, pero no nos deja solos. Se abre para nosotros el camino del Cielo ☁️🏡 y comienza un tiempo nuevo: el tiempo de la Iglesia ⛪, de la misión 🌍 y del Espíritu Santo 🕊️.

📖 Del Evangelio (Mt 28,16-20), el Resucitado nos dice:
“Vayan y hagan que todos los pueblos sean mis discípulos… Y yo estaré siempre con ustedes hasta el fin del mundo”.

La Ascensión no es un “adiós”, sino una nueva manera de estar presente 🤍. A veces, como los discípulos, también nosotros dudamos… pero la promesa de Jesús permanece firme: Él camina con su pueblo todos los días 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️.

Hoy, la pregunta es sencilla:
- 📍 ¿En qué lugar concreto me está enviando el Señor a anunciar su amor?
- 🤝 ¿A quién puedo acercarme esta semana con una palabra de esperanza?
- 🌱 ¿Qué puedo hacer para ser Iglesia “en salida” en mi familia, en el trabajo, en mi comunidad?

Pidámosle al Señor un corazón valiente y misionero 🔥. Nada es imposible para Dios. 🙌

🙏✨ Today we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord: Jesus returns to the Father, but He does not leave us alone. For us the way to Heaven is opened ☁️🏡, and a new time begins: the time of the Church ⛪, of mission 🌍, and of the Holy Spirit 🕊️.

📖 From the Gospel (Mt 28:16–20), the Risen Lord tells us:
“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations… And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

The Ascension is not a “goodbye,” but a new way of being present 🤍. At times, like the disciples, we also doubt… but Jesus’ promise remains firm: He walks with His people every day 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️.

Today, the question is simple:
- 📍 To what concrete place is the Lord sending me to proclaim His love?
- 🤝 Who can I draw near to this week with a word of hope?
- 🌱 What can I do to be a Church “that goes forth” in my family, at work, in my community?

Let us ask the Lord for a courageous, missionary heart 🔥. Nothing is impossible for God. 🙌

📅 Este jueves 14 de mayo de 2026, a las 7:00 p. m., celebremos juntos la Misa de la Solemnidad de la Ascensión del Señor ✨

🙏 La Ascensión es una solemnidad litúrgica común a todas las Iglesias cristianas, celebrada cuarenta días después de la Resurrección. Ya San Juan Crisóstomo y San Agustín la mencionaban en sus escritos, y su difusión recibió un impulso decisivo con San Gregorio de Nisa. Con la Ascensión de Jesús al cielo concluye la presencia del “Cristo histórico” y se inaugura el tiempo de la Iglesia. ☁️⬆️
