✨ Hoy celebramos la Natividad de la Virgen María: el comienzo humilde de una historia que Dios preparó con amor para traernos a Jesús. 🌿

📖 En el Evangelio escuchamos: *“La Virgen concebirá y dará a luz un hijo… Dios con nosotros”* (Mt 1,18-23). Esta fiesta nos recuerda que Dios actúa en lo sencillo y cotidiano, y que María es ejemplo de fe, obediencia y confianza incluso en los momentos difíciles. 💙

Mensaje para tu día: 🙏

✅ Dale a Dios tu “sí” en lo pequeño.

✅ Confía cuando no entiendas todo.

✅ Busca en María un refugio y una guía hacia Cristo.

📖 In the Gospel we hear: “The virgin will conceive and bear a son… God with us” (Mt 1:18–23). This feast reminds us that God works through the simple and everyday, and that Mary is an example of faith, obedience, and trust even in difficult moments. 💙

✨ Mateo 18:15–20 nos enseña a sanar con caridad: primero hablar a solas, luego con dos o tres testigos y, si hace falta, con la comunidad. No es para “ganar”, sino para cuidar la verdad y la unidad.

Y queda la promesa: “donde dos o tres se reúnen en mi nombre, ahí estoy yo”. Jesús está en cada paso de reconciliación.

🙏 Señor, dame humildad para corregir sin herir, valentía para escuchar y un corazón que desate con misericordia.

Si hoy hay un conflicto, ora… y da el primer paso hacia el encuentro.

✨ In Matthew 18:15–20, Jesus gives a path to heal conflicts: speak privately with truth and mercy; if needed, bring two or three witnesses—not to “win,” but to seek peace; and, if it still cannot be resolved, let the community accompany the process.

“Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I.” Jesus stands at the center of every sincere effort to reconcile.

🙏 Lord, help me correct with kindness, listen with humility, and “loose” with mercy. If there’s a conflict today, begin with prayer… then take the first step toward encounter.

🙏 Hoy celebramos a Santa Teresa de Calcuta ❤️, una mujer pequeña de estatura pero inmensa en fe y amor. En la ONU la presentaron como “la mujer más potente del mundo”… y ella prefería decirse con humildad: “un pequeño lápiz ✏️ en las manos de Dios”.

✨ Su historia nos recuerda algo esencial: la santidad se escribe con gestos sencillos, con oración y con servicio a quienes más sufren.

🌟 “Ven, sé mi luz” fue la llamada que transformó su vida y la llevó a fundar las Misioneras de la Caridad 🤝, para abrazar a los olvidados y darles dignidad.

🕯️ Hoy, pidámosle al Señor un corazón como el de ella:

- 👀 que sepa ver al necesitado,
- 🙌 que sepa servir sin buscar aplausos,
- 🌍 y que sepa amar sin fronteras.

Oración breve: ✝️ Señor Jesús, hazme instrumento de tu misericordia. Amén.

Today we celebrate Saint Teresa of Calcutta ❤️, a woman small in stature but immense in faith and love. At the UN they introduced her as “the most powerful woman in the world”… and she preferred to say humbly: “a little pencil ✏️ in God’s hands.”

Her story reminds us of something essential: holiness is written through simple gestures, through prayer, and through serving those who suffer most.

“Come, be my light” was the call that transformed her life and led her to found the Missionaries of Charity 🤝, to embrace the forgotten and restore their dignity.

🕯️ Today, let us ask the Lord for a heart like hers:

- 👀 that knows how to see those in need,
- 🙌 that knows how to serve without seeking applause,
- 🌍 and that knows how to love without borders.

🙏 San Gregorio Magno no buscó el “puesto”, buscó a Dios. Y, sin embargo, el Señor lo llamó a servir donde más hacía falta.

⛪ De monje a Papa, Gregorio nos enseña algo precioso: la santidad no es huir del mundo, sino amar a Dios con fidelidad en cada responsabilidad.

🌧️ En medio de crisis, pobreza, enfermedad y conflictos, él respondió con:

- 🙏 oración y penitencia,
- 🛠️ reforma y orden,
- 🤝 caridad concreta con los más necesitados,
- 🕊️ paz construida con valentía.

💛 Hoy, quizás tú también sientes que tu vida dio un giro que no esperabas. No estás solo: cuando Dios llama, también sostiene.

🙏 Señor, dame un corazón humilde y disponible para servirte donde Tú quieras. Amén.

🙏✨ San Agustín nos recuerda que el corazón humano no se calma con aplausos, placeres o logros… sino con la Verdad que es Dios.

📖 De joven buscó sentido en la retórica, en el éxito y en distintos caminos espirituales, pero su sed interior seguía viva. Hasta que, en medio de su lucha, escuchó aquella invitación sencilla y poderosa: “Toma y lee” (Rm 13, 13-14). Y la Palabra lo transformó.

💛 Hoy, si sientes inquietud, cansancio o vacío, no estás solo. Esa inquietud puede ser Dios llamándote a volver a Él.

🕊️ Oración breve:
Señor Jesús, revístenos de Ti. Ilumina nuestra mente, sana nuestro corazón y guíanos a la vida nueva. Amén.

🙏✨ Hoy recordamos a San Pío X, un pastor sencillo que, viniendo de familia campesina, llegó a servir a toda la Iglesia con un corazón profundamente pastoral. Su lema fue: “Instaurare omnia in Christo” — restaurar todo en Cristo.

🕊️ San Pío X nos enseña que la santidad no se trata de “aparentar”, sino de volver al Evangelio en lo concreto: amar la Eucaristía 🍞🍷, formar la fe con sencillez 📖, y vivir con humildad 🤍.

❓ Pregunta para hoy: ¿Qué área de tu vida necesita ser “restaurada” en Cristo?

🙌 Te invito a orar un momento y pedirle al Señor: “Jesús, renueva mi corazón y mi familia”.

🕊️ Saint Pius X teaches us that holiness is not about “keeping up appearances,” but about returning to the Gospel in concrete ways: loving the Eucharist 🍞🍷, forming faith with simplicity 📖, and living with humility 🤍.

Hoy, 18 de agosto, la Iglesia recuerda con gratitud a San Alberto Hurtado, sacerdote jesuita chileno que hizo de su “vida ordinaria” una vida extraordinaria, poniendo a Cristo en el centro.

Su amor por los más pobres, huérfanos y personas indefensas lo llevó a soñar —y construir— un lugar donde nadie se sintiera sin techo ni dignidad: el Hogar de Cristo.

San Alberto nos deja una pregunta que sigue siendo actual: ¿Qué haría Cristo en mi lugar?

Que su ejemplo nos impulse a mirar con compasión, a servir con alegría y a convertir nuestra fe en obras concretas.

> “Contento, Señor, contento.”

Oración breve: Señor Jesús, enséñanos a reconocerte en quienes sufren y a amar como San Alberto Hurtado, con generosidad y valentía. Amén.

Today, August 18, the Church gratefully remembers Saint Alberto Hurtado, a Chilean Jesuit priest who made his “ordinary life” an extraordinary one by placing Christ at the center.

His love for the poorest, for orphans, and for defenseless people led him to dream of—and build—a place where no one would feel without a roof or without dignity: the Hogar de Cristo (“Home of Christ”).

Saint Alberto leaves us with a question that is still timely: What would Christ do in my place?

May their example move us to look with compassion, to serve with joy, and to turn our faith into concrete works.

🕊️ Solemnidad de la Asunción de la Santísima Virgen María (15 de agosto)

Querida familia de fe 🙏: hoy celebramos que María, Madre de Jesús, fue asunta al Cielo en cuerpo y alma ✨☁️. Este misterio nos recuerda que la vida no termina en la tierra 🌍: Dios nos llama a la vida eterna ♾️ y a la resurrección 🌅.

En el Evangelio, María canta el Magnificat (Lc 1,39-56) 📖: Dios mira la humildad 🤍, derriba la soberbia ⬇️ y levanta a quienes confían en Él ⬆️. María es signo de consuelo y esperanza 🌿🕯️: como Dios hizo maravillas en ella 🌟, también puede hacerlo en nosotros.

Para vivir este día:

- Da gracias por lo bueno que Dios ya está haciendo en tu vida 🙌
- Acércate a alguien que necesite consuelo 🤝
- Reza el Magnificat y pídele a María un corazón humilde 💙

Santa María Asunta, ruega por nosotros. Amén. 🕯️

🕊️ Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (August 15)

Dear family of faith 🙏: today we celebrate that Mary, the Mother of Jesus, was assumed into Heaven—body and soul ✨☁️. This mystery reminds us that life does not end on earth 🌍: God calls us to eternal life ♾️ and to the resurrection 🌅.

In the Gospel, Mary sings the Magnificat (Lk 1:39–56) 📖: God looks upon humility 🤍, brings down pride ⬇️, and lifts up those who trust in Him ⬆️. Mary is a sign of comfort and hope 🌿🕯️: just as God worked wonders in her 🌟, He can also do so in us.

To live this day:

- Give thanks for the good God is already doing in your life 🙌
- Reach out to someone who needs comfort 🤝
- Pray the Magnificat and ask Mary for a humble heart 💙
