God told the Israelites at Mt. Sinai that they would be a treasured people, a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. The requirement: that they be faithful to Him.

God's promise still remains today: proximity to God comes through faithfulness. No matter where we are, what we are going through, what season of life we are in, if we are faithful to Him, He promises that we will be His. We need to respond in faith to His call and pursue Him.

God told the Israelites at Mt. Sinai that He delivered them, that He will be their God, and all they need is to be faithful to Him.

The God of the Bible has guaranteed us that we need look no further than Him. He promises us to be our God, He promises us to always be ready to hear and receive us. He promises to never leave nor forsake us.

We need look no further than Him, we need to trust that is sufficient, and we need to take Him at His word that He is our God.

Sometimes things get rough and it's easy to question if He's there, if we are safe in Him, if He will see us through... But God told the Israelites at Mt. Sinai and He tells us: I am the Lord YOUR GOD.

We can trust him to see us through the hard times and the struggles. We can trust Him to lead us through the dry seasons and the storms that rock the boat. We can trust Him because He tells us He is our Father.

Exodus Chapter 19: Israel at Mt. Sinai

🙏 In this sermon, we explore three essential truths:

đź“– Fidelity to God: When everything around us changes, our faithfulness to the Lord must remain steadfast.

✝️ Proximity to His Presence: We must continually draw near to God, seeking His presence and refusing to allow the distractions of life to pull us away from Him.

🛡️ Trust in the Lord: Even when we cannot see what God is doing, we can trust His character, His promises, and His perfect plan.

The Israelites' encounter with God at Mount Sinai reminds us that the Lord calls His people to be set apart, to listen to His voice, and to live in covenant faithfulness. The same principle challenges us today: when change comes, don't drift away from God—draw closer to Him!

If you are walking through a difficult transition, facing uncertainty, or seeking to strengthen your relationship with the Lord, this message will encourage you to remain faithful, stay near to His presence, and trust Him every step of the way.

What connects the Passover in the Old Testament to the Lord’s Supper we celebrate today? In Mark 14:12–25, Jesus transforms the meaning of the Passover meal, revealing that He is the true and willing sacrifice who gives His life to save His people from sin and death.

Just as the Passover lamb pointed to God’s deliverance of Israel from slavery in Egypt, Jesus points us to a greater deliverance through His sacrifice on the cross. But there is a crucial difference: Jesus did not die and remain so. He rose from the dead, conquering sin and death and bringing the promise of new life to all who trust in Him.

In this sermon, we explore the powerful connection between the Jewish Passover and the Lord’s Supper, discovering how Jesus fulfills the promises of Scripture and establishes a new covenant through His body and blood.

As Christians, we continue to celebrate this sacred meal through the Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper. When we gather at the Lord’s Table, we remember Christ’s willing sacrifice, proclaim His victory, and receive the signs of God’s grace as we look forward to His return.

In this message, we explore:

The meaning of the Passover and its connection to Jesus.

Why Jesus was a willing sacrifice for the sins of the world.

How Jesus fulfills the Passover and establishes the new covenant.

Why the resurrection makes Jesus’ sacrifice different from that of the Passover lamb.

Why the Church celebrates the Eucharist and what the Lord’s Supper means for Christians today.
