Today was Senior Sunday! We honored our graduates of both highschool and college! We are so proud of each of them and look forward to seeing seeing what God does next in their lives!!!

October is Pastor Appreciation Month and we can’t let it pass by without publicly sharing how much we adore Pastor Jon and Mrs. Kathy! They are in their 29th year of youth ministry and they are still as cool as ever!!! Fayette Baptist Student Ministry is so incredibly blessed to have a pastor who preaches the Word unapologetically and who desires more than anything to see students grow in the Lord! We are so blessed to have a pastor’s wife is always down for students hanging out in her house and who pushes girls to love like Jesus!

We love you guys and think we are the luckiest youth ministry in the world!! 🤍🤍

Yesterday, a plane crash resulted in the Heavenly homecoming of 4 believers who are members of a neighboring local church, and critical injury to it’s lead pastor who survived the crash. Their Pastor, Kennon Vaughn is breathing on his own and has been able to communicate some through writing. The latest reports from the doctors are all positive! He is in one of the top trauma hospitals in the country!

We ask our church family to join us in grieving with the family of Harvest Church, and be in constant prayer for the full recovery of their Pastor.
We Praise the Lord for His provision, in the midst of our grieving! And ask Him comfort our brothers and sisters in Christ in this time!

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort. For we do not want you to be unaware, brothers, of the affliction we experienced in Asia. For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again. You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.”
