The Great Commandment:
Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul...and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40

The Great Commission:
Jesus said, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and

the Son and of the
Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”Matthew 28:19-20

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart” is WORSHIP
“Love your neighbor as yourself” is MINISTRY
“Go and make disciples” is EVANGELISM
“baptizing them .....” is to incorporate into FELLOWSHIP
Teach them...all things...” is DISCIPLESHIP

We’ve had an awesome week of VBS & now we can’t wait to gather with our church family to worship the Lord tomorrow morning! We'll see you at 9:15 for connection classes and 10:30 for the worship service. Warren Kids will perform a couple VBS songs on stage and then join in leading with the worship team for the rest of the service! Pastor Kenny will share a message from James 3 on "Taming the Tongue". Emerald Crossing Day 5 - Shaky to Sure!

On our final day of VBS, we learned that God is a promise keeper! His goodness and mercy will follow us all the days our lives because He said they would in Psalm 23:6. Our animal pal was Shirley, the Highland Cow, who reminds us of these promises being sure if we are His children. The girl leaders got pied in the face because the boys raised over $1100!!! We're excited to be able to help provide Christmas gifts for families right here in Fayette County through their Angel Tree project with these funds. It's so hard to believe VBS is already over... we really enjoyed singing & dancing, playing games, crafting, acting out Bible stories, and learning about Jesus with your kids! Can't wait for next year ☘️
