Sunday was such a blessed day. 🙏

The Word was preached, the state of PCC was shared, and then we all stayed after and did what we do best — gathered around food and each other at our Congregational Potluck.

“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” — John 15:12 🤍

That’s exactly what yesterday looked like. Grateful for this community and every single one of you who showed up.

What if God’s not just preparing a PLACE for you, but preparing PERSONS to be with you?

This week, we explored John 14:1-14, where Jesus tells His anxious disciples something radical: “I go to prepare a place for you.” We often think He’s talking about heaven—but the real promise is the presence of God—Father, Son, and Spirit—coming to dwell WITH us, right where we are.

Why? Here’s the wild part: Jesus says, “Whoever believes in me will do the works I do—and GREATER works than these.” Not apart from Jesus, but bc He gives His Spirit to his people, God considers us the best use of His time, energy, and purpose. Our quirks, our wiring, our unique design are God’s raw materials for increasing His glory and our greatness.

In all, Jesus calls us to believe in God. However, doing so means we believe His optimism about our call. Come explore how the Father, Son, and Spirit are collaborating to prepare you for greater things than you’ve imagined.

The Point Community Church family had an incredible time showing up and serving at two amazing local events today:

🇺🇸 The Franklin Township Memorial Day Parade
👟 The 47th Annual North Brunswick Memorial Day 5K Run/Walk

We were blown away by the amazing turnout! No matter what the weather threw at us, the energy and crowd were absolutely unmatched. We love our community, and we love getting to serve the people who make it so special. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, run, walk, or cheer along with us!

While we loved seeing everyone come together this weekend, today we want to take a meaningful moment to focus on the true heart and meaning of Memorial Day—honoring and remembering those who gave everything for our freedom. 🕊️

strong enough to live free and set others free.

Sabbath isn’t about prohibition. It’s about releasing potential, recovering our identity, and living in rhythm with our Creator. Work, rest, reflect, grow. Jesus dignifies every person by calling them to their fullest selves—not tokenizing them, but truly seeing them.

Are we creating sacred space that invites people in AND calls them higher? Let’s move from drawing lines to discovering possibilities.
