Doing a study on Colossians and God gave me a pretty neat exercise this morning!!

Below are some attributes of a righteous man/woman! Take each one of these and spend some time reflecting how you may or may not present these in your life. Ask God to revel to you the areas of your heart that need work, and allow him to begin the transformation!!

Colossians 3:12 (NKJV):
“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering…”

Tender mercies — a deep compassion and heartfelt care toward others; having a heart that is moved by someone else’s pain or need. (A posture of mercy, not judgment.)

Kindness — choosing to do good; showing goodness, generosity, and love through your actions and words.

Humility — seeing yourself rightly before God; not thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less. It is surrendering pride and choosing to serve.

Meekness — strength under control; gentleness that comes from trusting God rather than needing to prove yourself or dominate others.

Long-suffering — patience that endures difficulties, offenses, or people’s weaknesses without giving up or responding in anger.
