Lake Cumberland Area Kentucky Fellowship of Christian Athletes My ministry efforts through FCA are possible because of appreciated donors’ faithful prayer and financial support.

Since 1954, FCA has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful platform of sport to reach every coach and every athlete with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. We all need a mindset that renews our outlook on athletics. When we have a renewed outlook on how we play, coach, interact and compete, we realize that we compete for something more than wins; life is more than championships. God has a deeper purpose for our sport and our competitive nature that lets us compete for something more. But what is this "more?"

God's deeper purpose in all seasons of competition is to glorify Him.

The word "Go" doesn't mean you have to travel across the world, sometimes it means just take one step. Take one step towards your co-worker who needs Jesus. Take one step towards the person sitting on a park bench who is alone. It's not about how far we travel, but our willingness to step outside of ourselves.

We all tend to forget things. We sometimes forget... whether it's our assignment on the field or in the classroom. But let's also clearly state that there is always a consequence when we forget something. Some consequences are greater than others.

Let's avoid the forgetfulness with God. Instead, REMEMBER! We must listen carefully and obey. It is also our daily duty to teach one another constantly to remember God!
