The 245th Pragatyadin of Sarvavtari Sarvopari Aksharadhipati Parabrahma Paramatma Purna Purushottam Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan and Maryada Purushottam Prabhu Shree Ramchandra was celebrated with immense joy and grandeur.

The sangeet team energized the gathering, getting everyone on their feet and dancing in devotion. Male haribhaktos joined Pujya Santos in spirited raas-garba, while female haribhaktos performed their own graceful raas-garba, filling the atmosphere with festivity and bhakti.

The Ghanshyam Bal Mandal presented a special performance prepared especially for this auspicious occasion. Haribhaktos adorned the paranyu with flowers and reverently swung it, expressing their love and devotion to Shree Hari.

Maha Shivratri is one of the four holy nights in Sanatan Hindu Dharma. Haribhaktos gathered to perform Shodshopchar (16-step) Puja of Shree Siddheshwar Mahadev’s Shivling, led by Bhudev Shree Amarbhai Vyas. Haribhakto offered panchamrut, grains, juice, and kesar jaal as the Bhudev chanted mantras of Shree Rudram from the Yajur Ved. Towards midnight, Haribhaktos performed abhishek again and adorned the Shivling with Bilva leaves, attar, chandan paste, and flowers. They also placed 33 divas around the Shivling to symbolize the 33 cosmic energies, (12 Adityas, 11 Rudras, 8 Vasus, and 2 Ashwins) thus celebrating the great night of Shree Siddheshwar Mahadev.

Celebrated the 200th Anniversary of Parbrahma Paramatma Purna Purushottam Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan wiring the Shree Shikshapatri on Vasant Panchami (Maha Sud 5 Vikram Samvat 1882) in the Harimandap in Vadtal. The youth mandals of Ghanshyam Bal Mandal, Nilkanth Kishor Mandal and Sahajanand Yuvak Mandal have teamed up together giving presentations on the different topics covered in the Shree Shikshapatri that summarise the main points from all the Shashtra’s from Sanatan Dharma.

During the Mahotsav, the Youth Mandal performed Dry Fruit Abhishek to Shree Shikshapatri after their presentation with almonds, cashews, raisins, walnuts, figs, dried peaches, and many more. There were two Prasadi Shikshapatri’s that are copies of the original written during Shree Hari’s time that was displayed for Darshan. One of them was written by Sadguru Shree Brahmanand Swami and the other one was written by Sadguru Shree Nishkulanand Swami.
