Tonight, we anxiously waited for Iran’s drones to strike our beloved State of Israel. We are thankful that the homeland was able to withstand the attack with minimal damage. The Iranian government is a threat to world peace, and it bears responsibility for funding and supporting Hamas’s barabaric attacks of Oct. 7. Its efforts to build nuclear weapons are intolerable and must be stopped. Jews and all peace-loving Americans should pray that the Iranian people, who have long since demonstrated their disgust with the regime, will throw off the yoke of their dictators and join the family of democratic nations. May this be God’s will. Amen. — Rabbi Garfinkel
