“I thought we were saved by faith?” Whether in sincere conversation or hot debate, have you ever heard someone push back at the thought that obedience is necessary for salvation?

Whether that be baptism, repentance, or even church attendance... if you have to do something, doesn’t that make salvation not by grace through faith?

“A slave is not greater than his master...” These words, spoken by Jesus, come on the heels of one of the most incredible pictures of love and service: the Son of God washing the feet of His disciples.

As we continue into John 13, we are confronted with a challenge to follow this example. Are we greater than our Master? Will we reject this charge or even try to replace it with great and mighty deeds... or will we pick up our towel and serve? Join us tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
