The August Holy Hikes is two week from today. Hope to see you there!!

Mark your calendars for two weeks from today--Saturday, August 15th, starting at 10 am--for the August Holy Hike on Mt. Davis in Forbes State Forest.

We will meet in the parking lot for the Mt. Davis Picnic Area off Mount Davis Road to hike the High Point Trail, an easy and mostly shady 2-mile out and back trail to the top of Mt. Davis. More adventurous hikers can then climb the observation tower to see the incredible views across Somerset County and beyond. Once we return to the picnic area, we will finish with Holy Communion.

Like many trails in the Laurel Highlands, this one has lots of rock and tree roots, but the incline is gradual. Wear good hiking shoes and dress for the weather. You will also want to bring a hat, insect repellent, sun screen, and water. See you there!

Don't forget this Saturday's Holy Hike on the Indian Creek Valley Trail!

Tomorrow’s HOLY HIKE is CANCELED due to the poor air quality forecast for Saturday. See you in August for the Mount Davis hike!

Rain or Shine! Join us for the July Holy Hike on the Indian Creek Valley Trail this Saturday, July 18th starting at 10 am.

We are hiking the easy Indian Creek Gorge section which starts at the trail head off SR 381 just north of Mill Run and immediately south of the Mill Run Reservoir. To access the trail head, turn west from SR 381 on Killarney Road (where the large Camp Christian sign is located). Drive about 1/4 mile then take the first right into the parking area for the trail head.

Be prepared for the weather, as rain is in the forecast. See you there!
