The student leadership team is created for the purpose of creating a community of genuine mutual love for one another. John 13:35 says, “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John makes it clear that our most significant evangelism will be how we love one another, and we can only experience love in deep relationships and communities. First and foremost, student leadership is called to be on mission by being in community with one another, a team dedicated to learning how to become a people of love by remaining in the word of God, praying, and fostering an environment of encouragement and inclusion. From a place of learning and a team centered on Christ in love, we will be committed to constantly searching for opportunities to expand our community and include more people.

This year we are doing something bold. We are going to preach, teach, and read through the entire Bible at Paradigm. We are calling it the Alpha-Omega Project. We will officially start the week of August 8th, but if you’d like to get ahead on the reading then here are the passages for the first 3 weeks! Let’s continue what we’ve learned up at Hume Lake and totally devote ourselves to the truth of God’s life giving Word. Let’s get it!

Passion Week Prayer: It’s shocking - death as a spectator sport? God have mercy on me for the ways I kick others when they are down. God I pray for those who are being bullied, whether online, at school or in the workplace. Father, would You provide strength to endure, advocates to intervene, and a way of escape. In the quiet I pray for someone I know who is suffering at the hands of others.
