Join us on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 10:30am in the Parish Hall for our annual Day of Service. We will be packing Personal Care Kits and School Supply Bags.

The Personal Care Kits will be shipped out to disaster areas around the world. School Supplies will be shipped to areas of the world where if kids don't have school supplies, they have to stop their education and enter the work force. These school supplies will ensure a longer education, and hopefully, better jobs in the future.

All are welcome to help us change the world, one kit at a time!

Bethania has a wonderful partnership with Scout Troop 41, and for his Eagle Scout Project, Jack Figueroa, along with the Scouts, built 3 garden beds for our Preschool and Afterschool Program. They donated the work and the supplies, and we've already got several veggies, herbs, and flowers planted. We're so grateful for our partnership with Scouts, and especially for Jack's dedication! Congrats on becoming and Eagle Scout Jack!

Bethania Youth Group is getting geared up for another great year! Games, dinner, and learning about God's love. All kids in grades 6 through 12 are welcome. If you'd like your kid to join the Bethania Youth Group, register now! We meet 2 Sundays a month from 5-7pm, and we have about 25 kids so far. This a great space to experience community and connect with kids from around the valley!

This Sunday at Unorthodox we're going to be starting a new series on Nonviolence. Many aren't aware of this because of how The Church has operated for hundreds of years, but nonviolence was at the center of Jesus' ministry and the Kingdom of Heaven. But we have a problem: We are addicted to violence and we've warped our faith to include it as a means to an end. Join us this Sunday as we start a series on a way of Jesus the world needs now more than ever!

Join us for our annual Hike Against Hunger this Sunday. There are two ways to participate. First, you can be a hiker. Hikers will meet at the church at 8am and leave at 8:30 to hike to Nojoqui Park. Hikers raise money by getting people to sponsor their hike and prizes will be given out for top earners. Any hiker that raises $100 or more gets their lunch free.
If you are unable to hike, you can sponsor a hiker, or make a donation to the church's food distribution. And everyone is invited to join us for a BBQ chicken lunch at Nojoqui Park. Please RSVP to the church so we have enough food.

Join us this Sunday after our 9:30 service for our first annual Dessert Auction! All proceeds go to our Youth Group! Bidding will start around 11, but show up early for some coffee and some free treats!
