This Sunday at Unorthodox we're going to be starting a new series on Nonviolence. Many aren't aware of this because of how The Church has operated for hundreds of years, but nonviolence was at the center of Jesus' ministry and the Kingdom of Heaven. But we have a problem: We are addicted to violence and we've warped our faith to include it as a means to an end. Join us this Sunday as we start a series on a way of Jesus the world needs now more than ever!

Join us for our annual Hike Against Hunger this Sunday. There are two ways to participate. First, you can be a hiker. Hikers will meet at the church at 8am and leave at 8:30 to hike to Nojoqui Park. Hikers raise money by getting people to sponsor their hike and prizes will be given out for top earners. Any hiker that raises $100 or more gets their lunch free.
If you are unable to hike, you can sponsor a hiker, or make a donation to the church's food distribution. And everyone is invited to join us for a BBQ chicken lunch at Nojoqui Park. Please RSVP to the church so we have enough food.
