Faith isn’t just believing—it’s choosing to trust God when the path ahead isn’t clear.

This Sunday, Pastor Jeff Clay will be preaching from Hebrews 11:23–29 “Anatomy of Faith.”

Through the life of Moses, we’ll see what it looks like to choose faith over fear, obedience over comfort, and God’s promises over what the world has to offer.

Sunday recap 🤍 What a beautiful day together!

We had a great turnout for our Family Service, followed by food, fellowship, and lots of time to connect. A huge thank you to Leo for helping make the meal so special as always!

And what an incredible first-ever Bake Sale & Rummage Sale benefiting our Mom’s Ministry! 🧁🛍️

A very special THANK YOU to Kimmy and Elizabeth for making the bake sale such a success, and to Megan, Brooke, Ashley, and all of the amazing moms who pitched in and helped make the rummage sale possible. We’re so grateful for every donation, baked good, volunteer hour, and bit of support that went into making the day happen.

What a sweet reminder of what can happen when our church family comes together. ❤️ We’re so thankful for each of you!

🌿 Family Service at The Ranch Church 🌿

Join us this Sunday, August 30, for our Family Service as Dr. Rich Dansen teaches on “The Good Shepherd and His Sheep.” 🐑

After the service, stick around for our Back-to-School Rummage & Bake Sale! All proceeds will go toward the SYV Ranch, TRC’s Mom’s Ministry 📚🧁

And there’s more! We’ll also be enjoying Food Fellowship, with Leo Curti treating us to his incredibly delicious shawarma

With all the activity, we’d love your help! If you’re able, please join us for setup at 9 AM. Cleanup after the service should take about 30–45 minutes.

Come enjoy the last weekend of summer with your brothers and sisters in Christ! 🤍 This is a sweet opportunity to spend time together, meet more of your spiritual family, and have some fun in the sun!

📍 Avila Beach
🗓 Saturday, August 29
⏰ 11 AM–5 PM

We’ll be gathering in the grassy area next to the playground, by the basketball courts, public bathrooms, and BBQ pits.

🍔 Please bring a dish or some meat to BBQ and a chair if you can, just in case seating is limited.

🌊 We may also be having baptisms! If you’d like to be baptized or just want to enjoy the water, bring your bathing suit.

Bring the whole family and come celebrate the end of summer with us! We can’t wait to see you there! 🙌🏼☀️

Psalm 62:1 🤍

“My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him.”

In a world that constantly tells us to do more, be more, and keep going, may we remember that true rest is found in Him.

Today, we pause. We worship. We rest. We remember that He is God, and we are held by Him. 🌿

“By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac…”
— Hebrews 11:17

Faith doesn’t always mean understanding what God is doing. Sometimes it means trusting Him with what we love most, believing that He is faithful even when we can’t see the outcome.

And this Sunday, we get to celebrate lives being changed through baptism! 🌊🙌

Join us as we worship together, continue through Hebrews 11, and celebrate what God is doing in our church family.

Sunday Recap | Do I Have What It Takes to Be Used by God?

This Sunday, guest speakers John & Debby Wright took us through three stories in Judges that remind us of one powerful truth: God can use anyone who is willing to be used by Him.

In Judges 3, we meet Ehud—a left-handed man, different from what was expected. Yet God used the very thing that made him different.

In Judges 4, God raised up Deborah as a prophetess and leader in a culture where women were often viewed as second-class. And He used Jael, a seemingly ordinary tent wife, to bring victory in an unexpected way.

Then in Judges 6, Gideon was reminded:

“Go in the strength you have… Am I not sending you?”

And God said, “I will be with you.”

The message is simple but challenging: God doesn’t need us to be perfect, powerful, or have it all together. He asks us to be willing.

Our weaknesses don’t disqualify us. Our differences don’t disqualify us. Our circumstances don’t disqualify us.

God wants to use what makes us different, and He promises to be with us when He sends us.

So the question isn’t, “Am I enough?”

It’s: “Am I willing?”

What could God do through you if you simply said yes?

August is full of opportunities to gather, grow, and serve at The Ranch Church! 🌿☀️

From guest speakers and outreach to baptisms, beach day, and our Back to School Family Service, there’s something for everyone this month. We can’t wait to see what God has in store!

We’re also looking for more Serve Team volunteers—especially in our Children’s Ministry as it continues to grow! If you’ve been looking for a place to serve, we’d love to help you get connected.
