The Ride raises crucial support for future priests in the . Starting with a 7 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart Parish, this inspiring event offers four routes—ranging from a 100-mile challenge to a 21-mile rail trail—designed for all skill levels to pedal with purpose. 🚴‍♂️

A peak at where to find the various activities tomorrow.

The Solomons Dragon Boat Festival organizers are monitoring tomorrows weather. Follow their page for updates!

Where is EVERYTHING?! Take a look at the event map!
Park your car 🚗 at the Glascock's field (not shown on the map but across from the Calvert Marine Museum) and catch a ride on one of the handicap accessible shuttles 🚌 into town. On your left will be Our Lady Star of the Sea, hosting the KidZone, Vendor Village, Information table, and the SMCR merchandise and vendors tables. Stop by to buy a baby dragon , event t-shirt 👕, or crafts made by our SMCR members.
Across the street in the first reserved parking area is the teams muster and boat 🚣🏽‍♀️ launch areas.
Continuing down the road, on the left is the Toy Boat 🛶 Building area at the JC Lore Oyster House, and across the street is the playground hosting the misting tent (weather permitting).
Just past the playground are the food 🍗🍲🌮🍈trucks, community partner booths, and the teams tents. Like one half of a set of bookends, a second SMCR table is at the far end of the parking lot next to the Pavilion, where SMCR folks will be collecting votes in the form of money for the Best Dressed Dragon competition 🏆. The Pavilion is home to race results, opening and closing ceremonies, and general announcements throughout the day.
Finally, across the street from that parking lot is the Solomons Mission Center offering respite services to those who might need them and down the street from there are the public restrooms.
