Lord on this Labor Day,
we thank You for the blessing of work.
We ask for strength to complete each day.
We ask for rest when we are weary.
We ask Your guidance
for everyone seeking employment,
and we ask that
You be with those whose faces
we might never see
but who work tirelessly each day
for the good of us all.

Please come for “Dinner with Friends”
This Sunday, September 6th, 3 p.m.
Cookout at St. Philip's, New Hope

"Dinner with Friends" is the new iteration of "Peacemeal". Spearheaded by Peter Pearson from St. Phillip’s, "Dinner with Friends" is hosted in conjunction with Solebury Friends.

Bring a side dish or dessert to share if you are able. We can always use some help setting up before the dinner and in cleaning up afterwards.

BACK TO SCHOOL BLESSINGS

It's the beginning of the new school year, and Trinity loves all of our students and educators who are a part of our community. We are inviting everyone who is heading off to school, regardless of where they are in their education, or who are teaching our young people, to bring in their backpack, satchel, messenger bag, or whatever they are using for a special blessing on Sunday, September 6. It is our hope that God will continue to bless you with good health, a keen mind, and a loving heart this school year.

Art Exhibit to Aid the Fight Against Food Insecurity

Opening Reception: September 10th, 3:00 - 4:30 p.m.


Frank Tortorello is known to us for the carpentry and design magic he crafted in the conversion of the "Rectory" back into a home, followed by converting a classroom into our new parish office, and most recently for designing and constructing the "Little Food Pantries" with Gene Fox.

But Frank has another hidden talent: the creation of 3 dimensional art forms from anything that strikes his whimsy.

Frank says that it all started when he was working on a back porch at his home, and there was a large wall that needed something. He went to his scrap heap and found two oval microwave dishes, and he painted and formed them into a piece of 3-dimensional art to place on the blank wall. Pleased with what he created, he realized that this was a new form of expression that he enjoyed creating. His works grew from there.

Trinity Episcopal Church Marks 150th Anniversary
by Spreading Kindness Throughout the Community

Six-week “150 Acts of Kindness” initiative invites people to turn everyday kindness into collective community impact

SOLEBURY, PA — How do you celebrate 150 years in a community?
At Trinity Episcopal Church, Solebury, the answer is simple: with kindness.
This fall, Trinity will commemorate its 150th anniversary by launching 150 Acts of Kindness, a six-week initiative designed to inspire acts of compassion, generosity and connection throughout Bucks County and beyond.

Beginning Sunday, September 13, Trinity parishioners, families, friends and members of the wider community are invited to help reach a collective goal of completing and recording at least 150 acts of kindness by October 25.
The initiative reflects the theme of Trinity’s 150th anniversary celebration—Honor the Past. Celebrate the Present. Envision the Future. Rather than celebrating this historic milestone only with events, Trinity hopes to honor generations of faith and service by creating something that reaches beyond its church walls.
Under the banner “Love in Action,” 150 Acts of Kindness celebrates the idea that meaningful change often begins with something small: helping a neighbor, reaching out to someone who is lonely, expressing gratitude, offering encouragement, donating something that is needed, or simply noticing an opportunity to make another person’s day a little brighter.

Trinity is also delighted to welcome Lahaska United Methodist Church in joining the initiative, extending the spirit of 150 Acts of Kindness across neighboring faith communities. And the invitation extends even further. Everyone in the wider community is welcome to participate, whether individually, as a family, with friends or as part of another organization.
