Did you know that Resurrection Sunday does not end the Easter season?

Easter comes from the old English word Ēastre and is a celebration of the dawn. Though originally a word associated with paganism, Christians have adopted the word to describe the season of Christ's resurrection - the dawn of new creation. In the traditional church calendar, the season of Easter begins with Resurrection Sunday and lasts until the Feast of Pentecost, when we celebrate the receiving of the Holy Spirit. This Sunday is the Second Sunday of Easter. We return to our series on Ephesians and behold the wonderous mystery of the work and mission of Christ through His church in Ephesians 3:1-13.

Following the service, we will enjoy our usual agape meal. If you cannot join us in person, tap the youtube link in our profile for our livestream.

"In the resurrection one reason why that the resurrection reverberates throughout the corridors of time and human history is because everything that the enemy designed as evil and harmful against us will become beneficial. It won't become good, but it will have a meaning, which is redefined because of the resurrection. Everything that is bad everything that is sad in life becomes untrue because ultimately we know that the triumph of Christ redefines everything. And so one thing that the resurrection of Christ accomplished, is that it makes everything sad untrue. It makes the ultimate truth not what we experience. But rather what we know that Christ the Son of God has triumphed! And regardless of the way things look around us, regardless of the circumstance that we encounter, Christ is victorious!"

This Sunday is Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week, the week of Christ's passion. On this day, we celebrate the triumphant entry of Christ into the City of Jerusalem and recall how the kingdom of our King, clothed in humility, is destined to fill the entire world (Daniel 2:44).

We continue the sermon series entitled, "The Dawn & Destiny of Christ's Mission - The Epistle of Ephesians". We conclude Ephesians chapter 2 and witness the characteristics of our heavenly citizenship.
