Did you know that Resurrection Sunday does not end the Easter season?
Easter comes from the old English word Ēastre and is a celebration of the dawn. Though originally a word associated with paganism, Christians have adopted the word to describe the season of Christ's resurrection - the dawn of new creation. In the traditional church calendar, the season of Easter begins with Resurrection Sunday and lasts until the Feast of Pentecost, when we celebrate the receiving of the Holy Spirit. This Sunday is the Second Sunday of Easter. We return to our series on Ephesians and behold the wonderous mystery of the work and mission of Christ through His church in Ephesians 3:1-13.
Following the service, we will enjoy our usual agape meal. If you cannot join us in person, tap the youtube link in our profile for our livestream.
