Rolling Plains Baptist Network

Rolling Plains Baptist Network RPBN is made up of cooperating Baptist churches in Mitchell, Nolan, and Scurry Counties in Texas. We are a resource for reaching our area for Christ.

Our Building is located on the campus of Western Texas College in Snyder. We also house the Baptist Student Center for Baptist Student Ministries at WTC and at Texas State Technical College in Sweetwater.

Avenue D Baptist Church - Snyder is having a Sunrise Service at the Scurry County Rodeo Grounds this Sunday, April 16 @ 7:30 am. It will be followed by a Pancake Breakfast at the church (9:00-10:00) and their Morning Service at 10:45 am.

Recently, Trinity Baptist Church hosted the Rolling Plains Network Bible Drill. The Rolling Plains Baptist Network covers Baptist churches in Nolan County, Mitchell County, and Scurry County. Pictured left to right are the four students who participated. They were from Trinity and Lamar Street Baptist Churches – Preslea Peacock (Trinity), Ruth Wingo (Lamar Street), Kylie Gray (Trinity), and Elisabeth Wingo (Lamar Street). Peacock, Gray, and Elisabeth Wingo advanced to the State Bilble Drill event based on their scores, which will be held in Lubbock April 21-22. Peacock earned a “Perfect” score! Gray received a “Superior,” Elisabeth Wingo received a “Good,” and Ruth Wingo received an “Honorable Mention.” Preslea Peacock, a 6th grader at Highland, is the daughter of Preston and Cassy Peacock. Ruth Wingo, a home-schooled 6th grader, and Elisabeth Wingo, a home-schooled 5th grader are the daughters of Josh and Midon Wingo. Kylie Gray, a 6th grader at Highland, is the daughter of Mike and Kimberly Jones.
