Siloam Missionary Homes Welcome to Siloam Missionary Homes, where our mission is to provide a comfortable place for missionaries to call home since 1992! They range from a 576 sq. ft.

The mission’s goal is to provide a comfortable, tastefully decorated, completely furnished home for weary, tired and yes, at times, sick missionaries. Siloam wants to meet the need for missionaries to find

refuge and rest, a place to be together as a family, and to be refreshed, renewed and ready for their return to serve the Lord in the region He called them to. SMH is governed by a board of directors whose desire is to meet this goal. Siloam Missionary Homes is located in Snow Camp, in a gated village on 33 acres in the heart of North Carolina, between Chapel Hill and Greensboro. There are 14 homes on the property. Twelve of these homes are for missionaries, two are staff homes. Each of the homes is tastefully decorated. efficiency apartment to 3,000-sq. ft. 4 bedroom, 3 bath homes. The houses are completely furnished with appliances, washer and dryer, dishes, pots and pans, linens, towels, TV and DVD. All of the utilities and phones are turned on and ready for the missionary family to move in.

Here is one example of the small ways that we try to make things better for the families that stay with us here at Siloam. We had an entry point into one of our larger homes that didn't have any usable furniture for taking off shoes, hanging coats, or anything like that. So one little purchase on Marketplace and the problem is taken care of in a way that fits the needs of a larger family. We wholeheartedly believe that providing restful spaces for our missionaries aids in their spiritual and physical renewal. Ultimately that allows them to be more effective in their gospel ministry.

This continues to be the year of More Abundantly at Siloam. We had made a decision to standardize our linens including towels, washcloths, and all of our sheets. God has just provided an abundance of high quality resort style sheets for our houses free of charge from a business that was closing. God is good!

We are very grateful for all the helpful hands that came out and assisted in sorting and changing over the Treasure Chest. We have one small table left to still put up but otherwise we cleaned and sorted and improved the space.

We have a volunteer opportunity for this Friday. We will be sorting through donations and also swapping out cold weather clothes for warmer weather clothes in our clothing store. If you would be interested in helping please contact our office and let us know. This is a great way to be exposed to the ministry at Siloam and also provide some much-needed assistance in one of our twice a year tasks. We will start at 9:30 and should be done around 11:30.

About 4 years ago we had a rock fly up and break the outer panel of glass in this large window and at the time the price quotes for replacing it were extremely high. Well just this afternoon a rock hit the other panel of glass and now we get to replace the whole window. Just another day at Siloam. This time we plan to get the window divided into two different sections and put a solid panel in the bottom half.
