The gentleman to the right is Mr Dorma Holt. Today is Mr Holt’s birthday - he is 101 years old.

The gentleman to the left is Mr Andrew Feltes. In a few days, Mr Feltes will be celebrating his birthday - he will be 1 year old.

Rock Creek’s oldest church member and youngest addition to the church family. Both celebrating birthdays, separated by 100 years - yet both beloved children of God.

We celebrated these momentous birthdays with cookies and lemonade on the porch. Please join us in wishing both of these gentlemen a happy birthday!!

Today was the day of blessing of the backpacks, students, teachers, and presentation of Bibles.

Rising Elementary, Middle, and High Schoolers received a Bible from the Youth Ministry at Rock Creek. These Bibles (versions that are grade-level appropriate for each age group) were given not only as a keepsake, but as a tool for their spiritual development, and as a reminder of our love for them. We pray they will be encouraged to always keep the Word of God at the forefront of their lives.
