Join us this Sunday as we celebrate Father's Day at Snover Heritage Church!

We are thankful for the dads, grandfathers, and father figures who lead, serve, encourage, and make a difference in the lives of their families. This Sunday, we'll take time to honor and celebrate them during our worship service.

Following the service, everyone is invited to stay for our Father's Day Potluck. Bring a dish to share and enjoy a great afternoon of food, fellowship, and time together as a church family.

This past Sunday we looked at Jesus' parable of the lost sheep in Matthew 18:12-14 and were reminded of a simple but powerful truth:

People matter to God.

The shepherd didn't ignore the one sheep that wandered away.
He noticed.
He cared.
He went after it.

And that's exactly what Jesus has done for each of us.

Before we were part of the ninety-nine, we were the one.

As you go through this week, take a moment to think about this question:

👉 Who is your one?

Who is the person God has placed on your heart?

A child?
A grandchild?
A friend?
A neighbor?
A former church member?

Don't stop praying for them.
Don't stop loving them.
Don't stop believing that God is still working, even when you can't see it.

Because nobody is invisible to God.
Nobody is forgotten by God.
And nobody is beyond the reach of His grace.

This Sunday is Membership Sunday!

One of the beautiful things about the church is that we're more than a building and more than a Sunday gathering—we're a family.

This Sunday, we'll be welcoming new members into the Snover Heritage Church family as they take a step of commitment to worship, grow, serve, and follow Jesus alongside us.

We invite you to join us as we celebrate what God is doing and welcome these individuals and families into our church family.

"So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others." - Romans 12:5

This Sunday in Week 2 of our This Is Us series, we were reminded that People Matter because people matter to God.

In Matthew 18:7-9, Jesus reminds us that holiness still matters, our influence matters, and that He wants something better for us than anything sin can offer.

One of the biggest takeaways was this: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. The voices we listen to, the habits we build, and the choices we make all influence who we are becoming.

The good news is that Jesus isn't trying to make life smaller—He's leading us into life that is fuller. His grace meets us where we are and invites us to take one more step toward Him.

"𝑇𝑟𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐻𝑒 𝑎𝑠𝑘𝑠 𝑢𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟 𝑖𝑠 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑡ℎ 𝑖𝑡 𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐻𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑠 𝑢𝑠 𝑡𝑜𝑤𝑎𝑟𝑑 𝑖𝑠 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒."

This morning we had the privilege of honoring our 2026 graduates.

As they step into a new season of life, our prayer is that they would walk closely with the Lord, trust Him in every decision, and boldly follow wherever He leads. While graduation marks the end of one chapter, it is also the beginning of new opportunities to grow, serve, and make an impact for Christ.

Church family, join us in congratulating our graduates and praying for them as they take these next steps.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." — Proverbs 3:5-6

As we've been walking through our new series, THIS IS US, we've been asking an important question:

Who is God calling us to be as a church?

Week one challenged us to embrace humility. This Sunday, we'll continue exploring what it means to live out our faith together as the body of Christ.

This song beautifully captures the heart behind this series. Because while every church has its own personality, history, and traditions, our greatest desire is simple:

To become more like Jesus.

More loving.
More humble.
More compassionate.
More faithful.
More surrendered to His will.

That's the kind of church we want to be. Not a perfect church, but a church that is continually being transformed by Christ.

Take a few minutes to listen to this song and let the message encourage you this week.

This week we kicked off our new series, This Is Us, by looking at Jesus' words in Matthew 18.

When the disciples asked who was the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus pointed to a child and reminded them that greatness in God's Kingdom begins with humility.

One of our key truths was:

"𝑃𝑟𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑝𝑢𝑠ℎ𝑒𝑠 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑎𝑤𝑎𝑦, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 ℎ𝑢𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑑𝑟𝑎𝑤𝑠 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑖𝑛."

As you go through the rest of this week, take a moment to ask:

Am I helping people move toward Jesus through the way I speak, serve, and treat others?

Let's continue building a church culture marked by humility, grace, truth, and genuine love for people.
