👑 After a break to celebrate Easter, we’re back in the Gospel of Matthew!

Gather with us this Sunday at 10am as we continue working through the life and teachings of Jesus. In Matthew, we're learning what it means to follow King Jesus in such a way as to make God's invisible kingdom visible.

You are welcome here!

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel.”

These well-known words from Isaiah 7 are found in the first chapter of Matthew, where the gospel writer begins his account of Jesus—the promised Messiah and prophesied King. Matthew records the words and works of the heavenly kingdom that Jesus came to initiate.

This Sunday, we will begin working through Matthew’s gospel as we seek to see Jesus the King clearly and to live in line with his kingdom. In these first weeks, we will see the story of Jesus’ coming to earth. As we move toward Christmas together, we will consider the unconventional accounts and remarkable events that introduce a remarkable King and unconventional Kingdom.

Starting this Sunday, we will begin a journey through the Old Testament book of EXODUS.

One of our hopes for this book is that we'll see in it a prelude to the gospel’s work in our lives. Through Jesus—who is not only God become known, but God become visible—and his finished work on the cross, and because of his resurrection, we are called into a covenant relationship with him. He rescues us and delivers us, and we move from bo***ge to covenant. He changes our identities from slaves to children. He gives us a new trajectory and new priorities.

We invite you to join us as we work to see the liberating power of the gospel formed in us more fully and advance through our communities more meaningfully as we see and submit to who God is, the lengths to which he has gone to rescue us, our changed identities in light of his deliverance, and how we can now live freely as his redeemed people.

MERRY & BRIGHT
At 10am on Christmas Eve, we would love for you to gather with us in the Multipurpose Room for a festive Christmas celebration. The service will include a light meal (think finger food) and more face-to-face interaction than a typical Sunday gathering.

STILL & SERENE
At 7pm on Christmas Eve, we would love for you to gather with us in the Auditorium to celebrate Christmas with the awe and wonder it deserves. This gathering will be a more traditional candlelight service with an emphasis on worship and reverence, followed by a light reception.

Why do we picture stillness and
serenity at the manger?

Because, despite the chaos surrounding the birth of this child, in truth, the cosmos were exhaling in relief at the arrival of their Savior.

Please join our church as we, too, take a moment to rejoice with the angels and cosmos alike in celebration of the One who would change everything.

Jesus, Emmanuel—
God with Us.

"...I am writing these things to you so that...you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth."
1 TIMOTHY 3:14-15

To be called "God's household" itself is remarkable, but the things that God says are true about us as his household are even more astounding! As we pour over Paul's letters to his protégé and fellow pastor, Timothy, we're going to see the beautiful truth of the gospel upon which the Church is built and stands today.

And as we savor God's grace and mercy shown to us in our salvation, we'll see more of the life that he has called us to live, together in Christ as his household.

We'd love for you to join us for Easter weekend!

Our services this weekend will proclaim the story that culminates in the multitude of the host of heaven crying out: "Worthy is the LAMB who was slain!" (Revelation 5:12)
-------
Good Friday (April 7) will begin with a self-guided walkthrough experience open to you between 6-7pm. The stations you'll visit are designed to give you tactile reminders of the events leading to Jesus' death. There will be two options: a family-friendly walkthrough (where noise is expected!) and a silent walkthrough.
We'll gather everyone together (including kids) at 7pm for our Good Friday service, looking at Jesus, our Passover LAMB.
-------
On Easter Sunday (April 9), we'll gather at 10am to proclaim the resurrection, victory, and kingship of the LAMB who was slain. All our normal Sunday morning ministries will be in effect.
