🌿 Palm Sunday 🌿

Today we remember the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem—when crowds welcomed Him with palm branches and shouts of praise:

“Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
— Matthew 21:9

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, a time to reflect on Jesus’ journey to the cross and His incredible love for us. The same crowd that praised Him would soon turn—but Jesus remained faithful, humble, and full of grace.

As we wave our palms in celebration, let’s also open our hearts in surrender. He is not only a King to be praised—but a Savior to be followed. 🙏

🌿 May we welcome Him into our lives today with joy, faith, and devotion.

Hurt Road Baptist Church Family

Because of potential freezing rain and ice forecast for late tonight and tomorrow morning for all of the Atlanta metro area, all Sunday services and activities scheduled for tomorrow are cancelled.

However, Teresa will be broadcasting her Sunday School lesson tomorrow morning at the normal time of 10 am on Facebook. Prayerfully, we will be able to gather again for a meal, prayer, and Bible study this coming Wednesday night. Please stay in and be safe.
