I am proud of all my kiddos, so let me brag on my sweet Londin today.

This girl lives in The Word, leads with kindness and confidence, and has one of the strongest work ethic I’ve ever seen for someone her age. She spreads Jesus everywhere she goes, and I pray she never loses that light.

She’s beautiful inside and out, and watching her grow into the young lady she is becoming has been such a gift. She is joy.

And let’s be honest… she also loves all things beauty and fashion — the girliest girl ever.

I’m just a proud dad today.

A couple of weeks ago, Hayden started his new career, and today Preston started his.
Watching our boys step into this next season of life has been such a blessing.

This transition season has not been easy on our family or on our kids.
There have been a lot of unknowns, hard decisions, and moments where we’ve all had to trust the Lord one day at a time. But I could not be more proud of the way our boys have handled it all. They’ve leaned into the Lord, sought wise counsel, prayed, fasted, and truly searched for God’s will for their lives in this season.

As a father, there’s nothing sweeter than watching your children choose faith over fear and pursue the path God has for them, even when the future feels uncertain.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5-6

We are beyond proud of our boys and so thankful for the faithfulness of God over our family.

Happy Mother’s Day!
Our household is celebrating Julie today, she’s a great mom to our four and many more. Her influence on our kids and the many kids in our life will be seen for decades to come. Love you, Babe!

And, we’ve spent the whole weekend delivering gifts, flowers, cards and hugs to our grandmothers.

In March of this year, I said goodbye to my Mamaw (Mom’s mother.) In the few moments after she left us, my aunt Vickie turned to me and said “Aaron, you’ve been blessed with two pretty amazing grandmothers.”

I can think back to the times I’ve spent with my grandmothers and how impactful those moments were. Their influence has lasted my whole life.

I see that same instinctive, guiding, caring demeanor in our moms. Not just to Julie and I, but our kids. My mom always has food ready for any grandkid that may come through the door. I see Julie’s mom, no matter how busy she is, take time to pick the girls up from school or meet the boys for a meal.

Ladies, don’t ever think the little things you do for your kids and grandkids have just a small impact. Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to grow weary in doing what is good and what is right. Everything you do makes a lasting, permanent impression on those who call you “ mom” and “grandma.”

Tonight our family took communion together, and it was such a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness, grace, and peace in every season.

No matter what life looks like right now, there is something so grounding about stopping, remembering Him,
praying together,
and placing everything back in His hands.

I want to encourage you — take communion daily if you can. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or perfect. Just a moment to remember the sacrifice of Jesus, thank Him, and invite His presence into your home and family.

There is power in remembrance.
There is peace in His presence.

Our family has been walking through one of the biggest transition seasons we’ve ever faced—especially for our kids, who have only ever known one place, one rhythm, one life in ministry. Sunday to Sunday, church life, being pastor’s kids… it’s all they’ve known.

And yet, in the middle of the hardest season, we’ve watched God move.

This past week, every one of our kids stepped into new opportunities—good jobs, doors opened, and undeniable favor on their lives. Today, Hayden starts his very first day in this new season, and in just a couple of weeks, Preston will step into his as well.

We could not be more proud.

Proud of how they’ve leaned into wise counsel.
Proud of how they’ve faced the hard things instead of running from them.
Proud of how they’ve processed the hurt of what was… while still choosing to embrace the joy of what is.

This season hasn’t been easy—but watching them walk it out with strength, maturity, and faith has been one of the greatest honors of our lives.

God is still writing their story… and it’s just getting started.

Happy Anniversary, Babe!

Today, Julie and I are celebrating 23 years (24 together) since our covenant marriage began.
When we started this journey, we had no clue where life would take us, what God’s plans for us was, but He has been faithful to our little family! He has blessed me with a life partner who is truly a superwoman.
She makes life exciting and adventurous, she makes our house a home, and she exemplifies Proverbs 31.

I can’t wait to see what the rest of our life looks like. Through challenges, celebrations, tragedy and triumph, she’s constant and committed.

I love you, Julie!

If you are a pastor, church leader, business owner, or private school owner, I wanted to share this opportunity because I hunted these down personally and know what a hard find they are. They are truly a rare opportunity.

The church has sold their entire property, and the only reason these (3 buildings) are being sold is because they were located on the church campus where the school was housed.

These are fully equipped educational buildings, including fire sprinkler systems, ADA accessible, and features already aligned with fire code standards. They are in excellent condition and have been well maintained.

They are ideal for:
• Daycare programs
• Private schools
• Church classrooms or Sunday school space
• Administrative or office use

If you are looking to expand in a cost-effective way without starting from scratch, this is a unique chance to secure buildings that are already set up and ready to go.

One thing we must always remember is this: anything we walk through, the Lord has already gone before us.

At the beginning of 2025, I never would have imagined that by the end of that year, we would be resigning and walking away from a position that carried so many dreams, vision, and years of our hearts. But the Lord had already gone before us with peace for the days ahead.

This past week, Julie went to a convention out of state. We had planned to take two extra days afterward just to rest and talk—something we honestly have not been able to do in a long time. Since stepping down, life has stayed very busy as we continue finishing our last assignment through May.

We had one really good full day together—pool time, coffee, food, rest, and just enjoying the little things we love. We had big plans for Saturday and planned to drive home Sunday.

But in the middle of the night Friday into Saturday, Julie was doubled over with abdominal pain. She didn’t wake me up; she just stayed in another room hurting all night. When I woke up, she finally told me what was going on and said, “I think I may have to go to the hospital.” She could barely walk, and the pain was unbearable. If you know her, you know she has an incredibly high pain tolerance, but she said this pain was worse than childbirth or a hysterectomy.

We went to the closest ER, thinking maybe it was diverticulitis or something that could be treated with antibiotics. Instead, they told us it was her appendix and she needed emergency surgery. She was transferred by ambulance to the main hospital, they performed an appendectomy Sunday morning, she was discharged Monday, and was cleared to travel home Tuesday.

Yesterday, we received the pathology report and learned that her appendix was already gangrenous. Looking back, we can see so clearly that the Lord had already gone before us.

He placed us in a faith-based hospital where they prayed over the intercom every day at 9am and 9pm. The staff prayed over patients. Not one person we met grumbled about their job. They loved what they were doing, and they cared for us with such peace, kindness, and compassion. It was an incredible experience, and we are so thankful.

God had already prepared the place, the people, the timing, and the peace we would need. Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

So, I don’t know what unexpected thing you may be walking through right now, but I do know this: He has already gone before you. And there can be a supernatural peace that only He can provide. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

We may not know what tomorrow holds but we can be sure that He does and has made the way perfect. Psalm 18:30 As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

It’s been a while, so I wanted to jump on here and say hey. I’ve had so many people ask what our first Easter was like after stepping down—and honestly, it was very different.

I’ve served on Easter for as long as I can remember - months of preparation, then the entire week of Easter full of rehearsals, planning, studying and pouring out. So to experience Easter in a completely different way felt unfamiliar… but also really special.

We spent Good Friday watching an incredible online service from The Belonging Co, attended church on Sunday at Cornerstone Church, and then had an egg hunt with Julie’s family.
After that, I made a banana pudding, and we just spent time together as a family.

I think the biggest moment for me… was sitting in a service and not doing one single thing. Just being present.

We even took a family picture—something we never get to do. That was actually one of the first things Julie said: “We get to take a family picture.” Normally, we’re the ones setting everything up, tearing everything down, trying to gather kids in between serving, and leaving exhausted. This year felt different in the best way.

God is so good.

As for what’s next—we’re not completely sure yet. We’re walking through a season of mentorship, counseling, and being poured into by some very wise people. And for that, I’m incredibly thankful.

One thing I do know is this—you can leave well, no matter your circumstance. Choose to leave well, because it honors the Lord.

03/08/2026

For the first time in 24 years, our whole family sat together in church from the beginning of the service to the end.

No one was serving.
No one was running something.
No one had to slip out early or stay late.

We just sat together… and received.

After decades of ministry, leadership, and carrying the weight of responsibility, this season feels different.

It feels like rest.

And today reminded us how beautiful it is to simply go to church as a family.
