What a powerful and meaningful Sabbath! ❤️

Last Saturday, the Global SDA and Women’s Ministries brought awareness to the “End It Now” initiative—a vital movement committed to promoting awareness, responsibility, and active involvement in helping to end violence in our families and communities.

Sis. J. Davis shared a powerful and heartfelt message, courageously drawing from her personal experiences. Her testimony touched hearts, opened minds, and reminded us of the strength that comes from speaking up and choosing healing.

We also celebrated several individuals who completed their Conflict Resolution training and received their certificates—a beautiful reminder that change begins when we equip ourselves with the tools to build healthier relationships and stronger communities. 🙏🏽

It was a powerful, emotional, and inspiring day. Together, we can be the difference. Let’s choose peace. Let’s choose healing. Let’s End It Now. 💜

Here’s what you missed last Sabbath, August 15, 2026, at Shiloh SDA Smyrna! 🙌🏾

We celebrated our first-ever Deacon and Deaconess Day—a truly inspiring and uplifting day as we honored these vital ministries and the dedicated servants who carry them out.

Two long-serving workers were recognized and honored for their outstanding contributions to God and His church. ❤️

Our Deacons and Deaconesses also blessed us with ministry in song through the Deacons and Deaconesses Chorale, filling the sanctuary with praise and worship.

Elder Omar Newell delivered a timely and self-searching message centered on the theme: “Serving God by Serving Others.” His word reminded us that true service to God is expressed through our willingness to serve, love, and uplift others.

What a Sabbath of gratitude, recognition, worship, and reflection! We thank God for our Deacons and Deaconesses and for their faithful service to His church.

This past sabbath was our “Community Guest Day”. The spoken word was delivered by our own Eld Bernard Taylor “He Knows my Name”.

Shiloh highlighted what they have been doing in the communities & Sis Olsen was honored for her consistent efforts and hard work.
We were able to dedicate our new kitchen.
Overall a great day in God’s house.
