The Smyrna Village Players is looking for volunteers to help with the Summer Show, Steel Magnolias, in the following areas: tickets/marketing, front of house, sets, and stage and tech. If you are interested contact Jim Wilgus, [email protected].

Show dates: August 15, 16, 17. Tickets will go on sale in early July.

REMINDER: Auditions for the, much loved Steel Magnolias play will take place TODAY AND TOMORROW (April 28 & 29), from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Smyrna First UMC Choir room.
This audition is open to the public. Parts needed are:
Truly - 40 ish
Annelle - 19
Clairee - 66ish
Shelby - 25
M’Lynn - 50ish
Ouiser - 66ish

We are also looking for volunteers to help build sets and to be crew for the show. (This is an unpaid production.)

Auditions for the, much loved Steel Magnolias play will take place on April 28th and 29th, from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Smyrna First UMC Choir room.
This audition is open to the public. Parts needed are:

Clairee - 66ish
Shelby - 25
M’Lynn - 50ish
Ouiser - 66ish

The auditions will consist of cold reads from the script. Headshots and resumes would be appreciated, but not required. Play dates will be August 16th and 17th.
