- Prayer said during a wind storm

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا، وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيْهَا، وَخَيْرَ مَا اُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَـرِّهَا، وَشَرِّ مَا فِيْهَا، وَشَرِّ مَا اُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ

O Allah, I ask You for it’s goodness, the good within it, and the good it was sent with, and I take refuge with You from it’s evil, the evil within it, and from the evil it was sent with.

Assalamualaikum my dear Muslims:

Eid Mubarak! Allah accept our fasts, ibaadah and duas made during this Ramadan, Insha Allah. Allah bless all of you and your families and this community and all the Muslims and Muslim communities all around the world, Insha Allah.

We will have Eid salaat tomorrow, Friday (4/21) at 8:30 am Insha Allah. Please make sure to pay zakat al fitr ($10/person) which must be payed before Eid salaat.

We will be having an Eid Celebration and Lunch at the Masjid on Sunday 4/23 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm with fun, games, and bouncy houses for kids. Lunch will be served after Zhohr (2:00 pm). Please bring your families.

As always, if anyone is in need of anything please let us know. We are here to serve the community.

Assalamualaikum my dearest Muslims:

Fasting on Friday (9th of Dhul-Hijjah/July 😎 - Abu Hafsah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet (PBUH) said "Fasting on the Day of Arafah absolves the sins for two years, the previous year and the coming year."

Takbir Al Tashriq - It is compulsory to recite Takbir Al Tashriq (ALLAHU AKBAR, ALLAHU AKBAR, ALLAHU AKBAR, LA ILAHA ILALLAH, ALLAHU AKBAR, ALLAHU AKBAR, WA LILLAHIL HAMD) after each fard salat beginning after Fajr on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah, Friday 7/8 until after Asr the 13th of Dhul Hijjah, Tuesday 7/12 for both men (recite audibly) and women (recite quitely) whether praying alone or in congregation.
