Bittersweet news from this past Wednesday, longtime friend and former Heritage pastor Carl Ivens died. It is bitter because we will miss him but sweet because he is home with Jesus, no more to suffer from the health problems that have plagued him these past several years. What a blessing Bro. Carl was to all he came in contact with. Please pray for his family.

Hey, all! Make your plans now to be a part of Heritage History as we try to break our attendance record on No Room Sunday, 11:00 AM December 14th. We will also have our Christmas program that day and a fellowship meal afterwards.

Next Sunday, October 5th is our second annual Preaching in the Park! We will be meeting at Lee Victory, Pavilion 3, 11:00 AM. After the service we will have a lunch together. This is also Heritage Sunday, as we celebrate the anniversary of the founding of our church. Please come and join us!

Mrs. Willis passed away Monday morning. Visitation is from 4-8 Wednesday at Woodfin's in Smyrna. The service will be at 2:00 at the funeral home.

In case you haven't heard, Earlene's sister Josephine died Tuesday morning. She has had a long battle with cancer but is at peace now. The visitation and funeral are at Hermitage Funeral Home. The visitation hours for today, Thursday, are 2-8 pm the hours tomorrow are from 9-12 pm. The service is at 12 pm Friday with burial to follow at the Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

It's that time of year again! No Room Sunday is December 15th. Come join us for our 11:00 service as we try to beat our old attendance record. We will have a special Christmas program during the service and meal that day following.
