A Day of Reflection

Today as we mark the 24th anniversary of 9/11 let us reflect on the many lives that were taken in this tragic event. Let us also remember the heroic acts of our first responders such as our firefighters, police officers, doctors, nurses, social workers, political people, religious leaders, and those who unselfishly helped during the time of calamity. Let us also reflect how our nation came together despite this attack on American soil. Above all let's reflect on God's goodness who in the midst of all the hardship, he did not abandon us, but strengthened us to persevere.

I pray that God's people who are called by His name, would humble themselves and pray, seek his face and turn from their wicked ways, so the Lord will forgive their sins and heal this land ( 2 Chronicals 7:14).
I pray that our nation would look to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, for redemption and salvation. Finally I pray for a powerful move of God's Spirit to touch hearts and change lives. So, on this 24th anniversary of 9/11, may our nation reflect how far God has brought us, and let us stand united. May God bless America! 🇺🇸
