Dear Members and Friends of Smyrna UMC,
With both gratitude and sadness, we write to let you know that the time has come for Smyrna United Methodist Church to hold its official Closing Conference and Closing Worship Service.
After much prayer, discernment, and faithful service together, our church will gather for this important moment on:
October 26, 2025 at 2:00 in the sanctuary of Smyrna UMC.
The Closing Conference, led by our District Superintendent Rev Robert Kolvik-Campbell, will take place first. Following the conference, we will join together in Closing Worship—a time to give thanks for all that God has done through this church, to celebrate the faith of those who built and sustained it, and to entrust its future into God’s loving hands.
