It’s First Wednesday Prayer! 🙏

Prayer is not just something we do—it’s how we stay connected to God, find strength for today, and receive direction for tomorrow. Scripture reminds us to “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and that “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16).

Prayer is for every season of life and every generation. As parents, grandparents, and church family, we must teach our children the value of seeking God. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

Pray together. Pray alone. Pray with your family. Pray for your friends. Pray for those who have hurt you. Pray when life is good. Pray when life is hard. Prayer changes hearts, changes circumstances, and most importantly, changes us.

Join us tonight for First Wednesday Prayer as we come together in faith, believing that God still hears and answers prayer. ❤️

Today, we were reminded that praise is so much more than a song we sing on Sunday...it's a way of life.

As we explored the seven Hebrew words for praise, one truth stood out: praise was never meant to be passive. It's expressed with our voices, our hands, our hearts, and our lives. Whether we're in the sanctuary, at home, at work, or walking through a difficult season, praise has a place.

One of the most powerful moments of the sermon came as we focused on Shebach—a loud, bold declaration of God's goodness. Not because life is always easy, but because God is always worthy.

The worship team sang the words, "our praise is our weapon," and that truth echoed throughout the message. Praise shifts our focus. It strengthens our faith. It drives back fear and worry.

Sometimes the greatest act of faith is choosing to offer a sacrifice of praise before the breakthrough comes.

After all, no one can praise God for you. Your testimony is yours. Your gratitude is yours. Your praise is yours.

So let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
