Photo dump from the past few months at UBY 🤗 Wow, we are flooded with gratitude reflecting on this year so far 😭 Youth nights, Gospel Hope with Nick Vujicic, getting to honor our community in our local Memorial Day parade, and more opportunities to share the gospel have been some of the highlights so far.

What an amazing year of Youth Nights it has been, thanks to the support of our donors & our incredible volunteers! 🥹

We hosted 21 youth nights during the 2025-2026 school year! 🗓️

Youth Nights had an average of 40 children per week. 🌟

Each child attending Youth Nights has been diligently memorizing Scripture. 📖 Our team has dedicated over 420 minutes to this alone at Youth Nights, the equivalent of a full school day dedicated to God’s Word.

The UBY staff prays as a team over Youth Nights and each child who attends multiple times per week. 🙏

For two hours each week, every child had space to grow and learn about Jesus safely. 🌱

Our team of nearly 40 staff and volunteers remain engaged, excited, and ready to love on these children each week. 🤗

What a tremendous blessing to be a part of these lives. We are honored to invest in the next generation and grateful to our team and donors for being a part of furthering the gospel!

Who We Are at Upward Bound Youth 🙌 Upward Bound Youth is a nonprofit organization based in Wayne County, Ohio that is centered on the good news of Jesus Christ. We offer local youth nights, family support, community events, and a Bible gap year program. We also work globally, partnering with mission-aligned organizations. We are looking forward to seeing you at Gospel Hope: An Evening with Nick Vujicic this Friday, May 1! Here are a few reminders about the event:

🎟️ Doors will open at 6pm. Please have your ticket ready to scan! We will have limited capacity for walk-ins, so we recommend registering in advance.

🚧 There will be road closures near the event. If you are arriving from the south, we recommend coming to the Greystone Event Center from Friendsville Road; otherwise, use Smithville Western Road to Friendsville Road if you are arriving from the north.

‼️ Due to the large number of expected attendees, parking may fill up quickly. If the main lot is full, please use one of our overflow parking options provided by Certified Angus Beef. Please refer to the parking diagram below.

🎉 Finally, we wanted to share that we have limited tickets left and anticipate a full house! If you have friends or family members who would like to attend but have not registered, we highly recommend pre-registering in order to ensure that they will have a seat.
