This morning, we rejoice that Viola was given the new birth of water and the Spirit and was forgiven of all her sins in Holy Baptism! May God strengthen her by His grace to life everlasting.

“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).

On Sunday, May 17, we had the joy of celebrating three high school graduates from our congregation! We thank God for bringing them to this important milestone and for the many blessings He has given them throughout their years of study and growth.

During the celebration, we presented them with gifts, prayed for the Lord’s continued instruction, wisdom, and guidance in the years ahead, and enjoyed fellowship together with cake and punch.

We give thanks to God for these graduates and ask His continued blessings upon them as they begin this next chapter of life. Congratulations, graduates!

Last weekend, we rejoiced in God’s gifts of Holy Baptism and the Lord’s Supper!

On Sunday, Mark and Sarah joined our congregation by confirmation and profession of faith, respectively, and received the foretaste of the feast to come in our Lord’s body and blood.

The day before, Mark, along with their two children, received the gift of Holy Baptism, where God forgave all their sins and gave them the new birth of water and the Spirit.

We rejoice with their family and pray that God would strengthen them in the one true faith unto life everlasting!

“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).

Today, we celebrated Confirmation Sunday AND our first Centennial Celebration!

We rejoice that Jase, Cason, Luke, Olivia, and Wyatt were confirmed this morning! We pray that God, who began a good work in them, will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

After church, we celebrated the new confirmands, enjoyed a chicken fried steak potluck lunch, learned about the first two decades of our church, and revealed the winners of our coloring contest. God be praised for his faithfulness!
