🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

Today we are thankful for the blessing of work, for the hands that serve, build, teach, provide, protect, and care for others.

As we enjoy this day of rest, may we remember the One who gives us strength to work and the blessings we enjoy. Whatever we do, let us do it “heartily, as to the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

🙏 Thank You, Lord, for the ability to work, the strength to serve, and the opportunity to be a blessing to others.

May your Labor Day be filled with rest, family, gratitude, and God’s blessings!

“I don’t go to church. There are too many hypocrites there.”

😂 Great! You’ll fit right in!

Seriously.

If the requirement for going to church were “never be a hypocrite,” churches would be empty.

Including the pulpit. 😬

We all fall short.
We all say things we don’t perfectly live out.
We all need correction, encouragement, accountability, and—most importantly—grace.

Church isn’t a museum for perfect Christians.
It’s a gathering of imperfect people worshiping a perfect Savior.

👉And here’s the part we sometimes don’t want to hear: Whether we feel like going to church really isn’t the deciding factor.

God tells believers:

✨ Gather with the body.
“Not neglecting to meet together…” — Hebrews 10:25

✨ Use your gifts to serve the body.
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another…” — 1 Peter 4:10

✨ Recognize that you’re PART of the body.
“So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” — Romans 12:5

Yes, you’ll find hypocrites at church.
You’ll also find them at Walmart, the gym, restaurants, work, sporting events, and probably in your own house.
You'll find them in the mirror ;)

Funny how nobody quits Walmart because there are hypocrites there. 😂

The question isn’t whether the church is filled with imperfect people.
Of course it is.
The question is whether Christ is worthy of our obedience.
And He is.

So come to church.

There’s room for one more hypocrite. 😉❤️
