What will our children believe? Will they know God for themselves, or settle for a half-hearted, Laodicean church-going? Faith doesn't pass by accident. It's handed down deliberately, prayerfully, sacrificially β€” and we are not spectators of that chain. We are links in it.
Prayer is the warfare. The watch has been long, the night deep, but the watchman's job is not to see the dawn β€” it's to keep watch until the dawn breaks. Don't come down off your prayer wall.

Your thoughts can shape your own mind, but your words do something else entirely. The moment they leave your lips they cross the room and rise like incense into a place you cannot see. This is why prayer works β€” this is why heaven keeps bowls full of the speech of the saints, every word carrying further than the one who spoke it.
Most of us live like thermometers, reporting whatever heat the room hands us. But there's another way to stand in a world going sideways: speak. Open your mouth with a word of life and watch the atmosphere bend toward it. The same God who spoke you into being still honors the sound of a voice agreeing with Him.

Many kind-hearted believers confuse codependency with Christian charity. They think saying β€œno” to a demanding person is a sin, when in reality, saying β€œyes” to an entitled person often just fuels their pride.
Galatians 6 tells us how to know the difference β€” through two Greek words most of us have never been taught.
Baros β€” the crushing weight we carry together.
Phortion β€” the daily load each of us is meant to carry alone.
A teaching on serving with wisdom, receiving with grace, and learning the difference between the two.

What Galatians 6 Actually Teaches About Helping Others

One lap. That's all the track gives you. And the handoff matters as much as the speed β€” because if you stumble, the next runner inherits your fall. The faith was never ours to keep. It was placed in our hands the way a baton is placed: trusted, not owned. We carry it with care, lest we let it drop.
The deeper fear is this β€” that the ones behind us won't know an old-fashioned prayer meeting. Won't know how to get a hold of God when God is all there is to get a hold of. The fathers have run their lap. Ours is in motion now. We may not have looked like the generation favored to win β€” but the baton is in our hand, and we will not slack.
