Some people are followed everywhere by shady characters. Old hurts. Old jealousies. A depression that has learned your address. You never invited them, and somewhere along the way you stopped asking them to leave.

You talk all day. Then truth needs saying and suddenly you're out of words. Good. Yours weren't doing much for you. Turn to His. Speak them.

Last time ended on two words: open your mouth. This is what came out. Not a plan, not a speech. A wind, a roar, something rumbling up from the belly and aimed at the swarm. Knees hit the floor and it didn't break the flow. The flies, the lies, got confused, and the emptied field began to clear.

Prophecy, at its root, means to take a breath. Not to foretell tomorrow but to declare the now: truth with His breath on it, and angels assigned to guard it. Hell works overtime to keep a tongue stuck to the roof of a mouth. It knows what happens when light and living water come out together.

You know enough. That's not the problem. You've sat under the Word for years and could quote it in your sleep — and still nothing moves.

Then one word turns it. Thou. Not a prophet's word. Not a platform's. Yours. And what you decree stands — not because you're powerful, but because the King whose word you carry has never lost a case.

A field almost ready for harvest, and a cloud on the horizon that isn't a cloud. It's a swarm — and they aren't dragonflies. They're the dragon's flies. Every fly a lie, and lies don't nibble. Miles of harvest gone to dust, and still they hunt the ground for one fallen seed.
Standing in the emptied field, one question: what do we do now? The answer is a single word — and it isn't a strategy. What needs saying has already been sown in you. Open your mouth.

The anointing of God is never accidental. It is compounded — over trials, over prayer vigils, over surrenders. It takes the good and the bad and the ugly, the sweet and the sour and the in-between. Pastor Shelley says God is making something in His people, and it cannot be sloppy work.

But what He pours in must be guarded. The devil is at the screen door, and he sees it sitting on the table — and demons never travel alone. Your unique test was measured for your unique anointing; pass it, and you come up out of the wilderness leaning on your Beloved, carrying a testimony no preacher could tell for you. Because you've lived it.
