Because of your generosity, kindness, and support, we are one step closer to packing shoebox gifts that will bless children in need and help share God’s love around the world.

Thank you to everyone who donated items, helped set up, worked the sale, shopped, gave, prayed, and encouraged us along the way. We are so grateful for a community that shows up and makes a difference.

Welcome to Smithfield Baptist Church.

In this Sunday’s message, “The Healing of the Demoniacs” from Matthew 8:28–34, we see the absolute authority of Jesus on full display. As He confronts demonic forces in a Gentile region, Christ reveals that He is not only a teacher and healer, but the divine Messiah with power over evil itself.

This powerful passage challenges us to consider how we respond to Jesus. While even the demons recognized His authority, the people of the region rejected Him, more concerned with their losses than with His saving power. Through this message, we are reminded that Jesus has overcome evil through His cross and resurrection, and He alone can bring true deliverance, restoration, and hope.
