🎄 FBC KIDS CHRISTMAS PLAY PRACTICE BEGINS THIS WEEK! 🎄

We are SO excited to begin practicing for our FBC Kids Christmas Play, “What the Herd Heard!” 🐑⭐️🎶

All kids Kindergarten through 5th Grade are invited to join us as we prepare to tell the greatest story ever told—the story of Jesus’ birth! ❤️

🎶 Practice begins THIS Wednesday, September 2 at 5:45 PM!

📅 Christmas Play: Sunday, December 6 at 5:00 PM

We can’t wait to tell the greatest story ever!! ⭐️🐑❤️

🛍️❤️ BLESSINGS IN A BAG FOOD DRIVE! ❤️🛍️

This Sunday, our FBC Kids will be collecting food for our Blessings in a Bag ministry!

🛒 Here’s how you can help:
Fill a grocery bag with kid-friendly food items and place it by your vehicle Sunday morning. During the Sunday School hour, our FBC Kids will come around and pick up the bags!

All donations will help stock our pantry and provide food for kids right here in our community. ❤️

🥫 FOOD NEEDED:
• Fruit cups
• Juice boxes
• Bottled water
• Soups
• Single packs of crackers
• Small bags of chips
• Ramen noodles
• Mac & cheese cups
• Chef Boyardee meals
• And other kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare foods!

Thank you for helping us teach our kids the joy of serving others while making a difference in our community! ❤️

Happy Wednesday!!!

Join us tonight at First Baptist Church of Slocomb!! Kids Choir starts at 5:45pm followed by Mission Kids at 6:30pm!! We hope to see you all! ❤️

📚🎒 What an incredible Back to School Bash! 🎉

We started the night by tagging our backpacks with a special blessing before heading into the sanctuary to join our youth and church family for a time of prayer over the upcoming school year. ❤️🙏

Afterward, we enjoyed some delicious food, laughed together, and played some super fun games!

As our kids head back to school, I hope they remember these three things:
💙 Be kind to everyone.
📚 Work hard at everything you do.
✝️ Remember that Jesus is always with you!

☀️POOL PARTY FUN 🤩

We had a blast with our third through fifth graders!! Big thanks to Mr. David and Mrs. Rhonda Silavent Yeomans for letting us use your pool!! 💙

Tonight was also a bittersweet as we said goodbye to our 5th graders. You have each made such a special impact on my heart, and I will miss having you in FBC Kids.

As you begin this next chapter, my prayer is that you will always keep your eyes on Jesus and continue growing in your faith. God has incredible plans for each of you! Mrs. Deanna loves y’all and is so proud of you! ❤️
