🙏 IMPORTANT CHURCH UPDATE – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11 🙏

Due to power outages affecting so many in our community, First Baptist Church Slocomb will not have our regularly scheduled Sunday morning services. However, we invite anyone who is able to join us for a special Prayer & Praise Service from 9:00–9:30 AM. ❤️

This will be a very casual time of worship, so come as you are! We will praise God through song, thank Him for His faithfulness and provision during difficult times, and lift up those who are still affected by the storm.

Please note that no childcare will be provided.

We are so thankful for God’s protection and provision, and we continue to pray for everyone impacted by the storm.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this announcement!

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” – Psalm 46:1* 🙏❤️

Such a fun morning in Mrs. Jennifer’s Sunday School class learning about Jesus! 💕 We are so thankful for teachers who make learning about Jesus fun and pour His love into our kiddos each week! ✝️❤️

We are so blessed and thankful for this much-needed rain! But don’t let it keep you away this morning! ☔️⛪️

Come join us at First Baptist Church of Slocomb!! ❤️

Sunday School — 9 AM
Morning Worship — 10 AM

There’s a place for everyone in Sunday School! After Sunday School, our K–5th graders join their parents in Big Church for the beginning of Morning Worship. Before Bro. Brad begins preaching, the kids are dismissed to Kids Zone for Bible time and a snack!

Rain or shine, we’d love to worship with you this morning! ❤️

Our 3rd–5th Grade Mission Kids had such a fun night! 💗💙

Our girls enjoyed a special Girls Night learning that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by God! ✨💕

Our boys hung out with Mr. Trent and Mr. Gage for some outside fun and a Bible study on respect! 🏃‍♂️📖

We are so thankful for the adults who pour into our kids each week and help point them toward Jesus!

Our K–2nd Grade Mission Kids have been busy being the hands and feet of Jesus! ❤️

This month, they participated in a special mission project where they made hygiene bags and school supply bags and, most importantly, prayed over each one. 🙏🏼🎒🧼

We are so thankful for Mrs. Danielle Benefield Hagler and Mrs. Jennifer Smith Jones and the way they faithfully pour into our kiddos each week—teaching them not only about Jesus, but how to show His love to others through serving.
