Soon our classrooms will once again be filled with students and teachers, ready to learn, grow, and share their faith together!

We’re excited to welcome our Faith Formation students back for another wonderful year. We look forward to seeing our classrooms come alive with learning, laughter, prayer, and opportunities to grow closer to Christ.

A heartfelt thank-you to all of our amazing catechists and volunteers who generously share their time, talents, and faith with our students. Your dedication and commitment help make Faith Formation such a special part of our parish community.

🍔 Knights of Columbus Brat Fry — Saturday, September 19th! 🌭

Join the Knights of Columbus Unity Council 12743 of Resurrection and St. Lawrence Parishes for a day of good food and fellowship!

We’ll be serving up brats and hamburgers from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Resurrection Church parking lot (north end near Hwy 33).

Drive up for a quick meal or stay awhile and enjoy outdoor seating with parishioners and friends.

Our middle school students had a great opportunity this summer to learn, grow in their faith, and ask some thoughtful questions during their Summer Faith Formation Program!

Fr. Rick and Fr. Kevin sat down with the students for a special Q&A, giving them the opportunity to ask questions about our Catholic faith, the Church, and following Christ.

We’re grateful for their curiosity and willingness to learn—and for our priests taking the time to listen, share, and help our young people grow in their faith!

Coffee & Catholic Answers Returns!

After our summer break, Coffee & Catholic Answers is back!

Join us on Sunday, September 13th, from 9:00–10:00 am in the Church Gathering Space by the coffee bar for coffee, conversation, and an opportunity to learn more about our Catholic faith.

Our first session will feature a presentation on Cursillo.

Have you ever wondered what the “next step” in your spiritual life might be? Maybe you want to grow closer to Jesus, deepen your Catholic faith, or discover practical ways to live out your faith each day.

Come learn how Cursillo helps Catholics deepen their relationship with Christ and grow as disciples—sharing Christ’s love not only at church, but also in our homes, workplaces, and communities.

Whether you’re simply curious about Cursillo or feel that God may be calling you to something deeper, you are welcome to come and learn more!

🎁 COMING THIS FALL: OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX COLLECTION! 🎁

This fall, our cluster parishes are excited to participate in Operation Christmas Child for the first time! Through this ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, we’ll have the opportunity to share the love of Christ by sending gift-filled shoeboxes to children around the world along with the Good News of Jesus.

📅 Collection Dates: November 16th–23rd

Although our collection is still a few months away, now is a great time to start shopping! Back-to-school sales are the perfect opportunity to pick up items such as notebooks, crayons, pencils, markers and scissors.

Shoeboxes are packed for boys or girls in three age groups:

Ages 2–4
Ages 5–9
Ages 10–14

We’ll share more information in the coming weeks about what to pack, collection locations, and when empty shoeboxes will be available at our parishes.

In the meantime, consider setting aside a few items each time you shop. Small gifts can make a lasting impact in the life of a child and open the door to sharing the hope of the Gospel.
