What is FUN??!
It stands for Family Unity Night! It’s a time for families to come together mid-week for fellowship, worship, service and games! And a snack. 😉

When is it??
The 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 6 PM - plan on staying until around 7:30 PM - Will we see you this week??

Who is invited??
Any family that is interested in knowing Jesus more and each other more! Having family time is not always easy, so let us take care of the extras and come and have some FUN together!

What devotion are you using? “How Great is Our God”, by Louie Giglio - it gives us a glimpse at how AMAZING God is and explains to us how we can scientifically see His beauty all around us!

You will receive your own copy of the devotion to take home and continue to study as a family!td

A “FUN” new Family Ministry is starting this Wednesday, January 14, at 6 PM at Slinger Community Church! Come join us for a night of growing closer to Jesus and each other as families come together in a time of devotion, worship, games and fellowship!

Plans have changed! The Lauver Family is still moving back to Pennsylvania to lead a church closer to their family, but their house renovations aren't complete. This morning we welcome Rev. Steve and Terri Fletcher to our church. Pastor Steve will serve as our interim pastor. Their previous ministries include pastorates in Minnesota, Illinois, and, most recently, in Neosho, Wisconsin.

The focus of his ministry at Slinger will be preaching the Word of God, providing pastoral care for the congregation, and supporting the church throughout the pastoral search process. Keeping Jesus Christ as the center of all aspects of ministry is the highest priority.

In addition to 30 years of pastoral ministry experience, Pastor Steve has worked for 15 years in staff training, supervision, workforce development, and career planning. Pastor Steve and Terri have been married for 44 years. They have three adult children and five grandchildren.

Their life verse is Psalm 34:3: “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!”
