Ladies, I just posted an advertisement for the Abide Conference at NOBTS in February that we were planning on buying tickets for. Unfortunately, they have already sold out of tickets for the conference. (I knew they would but never imagined it would be in one day!) 😕

We have a new Ladies Bible Study starting in August! 🌺
Study guides will be available on July 19th for $20. You can sign up to attend after services on Sunday (starting next week) or call our church office. (985-643-3456)

We’ve had a wonderful week of celebration here at FBC Slidell! ❤️🤍💙 I normally just post our Ladies Ministry news here but we have so much more going on at the church. Somthing for every age group!

Since our country’s 250th birthday celebration is next week, we had a wonderful church family bbq this past Wednesday and today a fabulous luncheon with our Adult 55+ group. All honoring God’s provision for our nation over 2 plus centennials! 🇺🇸

If you are looking for a church that loves Jesus, studies His word, and loves people come join us this Sunday! ✝️

We have a wonderful program coming up in July called Vacation Bible School! The dates are July 12th - 16th. VBS runs from 5:30pm to 8:00pm each night and is for children who have completed Prek 4's through 6th grade.

If you'd like to register your child to attend, please go to our church website at www.fbcslidell.org and click on the VBS link. There is no cost for your child to attend.

Hello Ladies! 🌺

Lisa Franszczak and I had the privilege to attend the taping of a new Lifeway Bible Study due out in May 2027. One of our local bible study leaders, Tara Dew, wrote and leads the study "Fruit of the Spirit - Growing in the Likeness of God". Tara is also wife to Dr. Jamie Dew who is the president of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Oh my goodness - what a great study and what a great teacher she is! 😍

There is one more taping session scheduled for Thursday morning if you have some free time and would like to attend. (This is a 10 week study and we sat through sessions 1 - 7 the last two days.)
Doors open at 9:00am and they are taping in The Chapel at FBC Covington. No charge to attend and there was plenty of room for more ladies.
